Story
Courtesy Post for a rescue partner. We are assisting Greener Side Haven with placing Wolfie ! Wolfie is a striking Siberian Husky/Lab(?) mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs, is neutered, partially housebroken, current on vaccinations, dewormed and has a clean heartworm test. He has a short Lab like coat but Husky markings and that traditional tail curl. Wolfie has a big personality and like many young Huskies can be willful & headstrong, but is very smart. He is a very active dog and will try to escape, so a 6’ privacy fenced yard is required to keep this guy safe. We believe Wolfie would do best with someone who has Siberian breed experience. No small children or small dogs please. For more details and to arrange a meet ‘n greet, please call 352-746-3545. If you have questions about the Siberian breed feel free to email us at: foccas@tampabay.rr.com More pics of Wolfie can be found here: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/wolfie-59987955/fl/inverness/foccas-inc-fl1385/

Story
Meet Togo Named after the legendary sled dog from the Disney movie, Togo is a 5-year-old neutered male Husky full of personality and love. Personality & Temperament: Togo is incredibly friendly with all people, including children. He's known for his gentle hugs and classic Husky vocalizations. He loves car rides, dog parks, hiking, and long walks—making him a perfect companion for an active person or family. His favorite thing in the world? Stuffed toys. He’ll play with them during the day and cuddle them at night. Home Needs: Togo is both crate-trained and potty-trained. He thrives on a routine and is typically let out every 3 hours. He must be crated when left alone, as he's a bit of an escape artist—so a secure, tall fence or a leash at all times is a must. Behavior with Other Dogs: Togo exhibits resource guarding—he protects his food, toys, treats, and even water. Because of this, we do not recommend a home with other dogs unless you're experienced in managing and separating animals during high-value moments. Medical Info: Togo occasionally has a strange cough. When it flares up, a vet-prescribed steroid helps manage it. The current bottle will be provided, and his medical records can be transferred to his new vet. He doesn't need the medication often, and the bottle lasts quite a while. Togo is looking for a committed, loving home that understands the needs of an intelligent, energetic Husky with quirks.

Story
Lady is a loving, intelligent girl looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She is being rehomed due to a medical situation with another dog in the household, and her family is committed to making sure she lands somewhere safe, stable, and full of love. ✨ About Lady: • Very affectionate with adults • Tolerates other dogs • Loves toys and enjoys playing independently • Moderate energy level • House-trained & crate-trained • Knows basic commands Lady thrives with structure, routine, and engagement. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world — enjoying activity, enrichment, and quality time with her people. This is not a behavioral rehome. Her family simply wanted what’s best for her and recognizes they couldn't meet her needs responsibly at this time. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion and think Lady might be your match, please reach out.

Story
Meet Zeke, a remarkable 4–5-year-old neutered male Siberian Husky whose beauty is only rivaled by the depth of his heart. With his gorgeous black-and-white coat which has the most unique pattern, including an adorable heart on his side and one on the back of his neck, and his mesmerizing blue eyes, Zeke is truly one of a kind—but what makes him unforgettable is the love and devotion he showed to his lifelong partner, Freya, who we suspect was his mother.. Zeke - the younger of the two and Freya - a senior in very poor health, were found dumped in terrible condition. Both were underweight and filthy full of skin issues. Zeke and Freya were vetted and cared for while recovering from their former life of neglect. Zeke always watched over Freya with unwavering loyalty and support through her multiple health challenges and unfortunately her decline. Never leaving Freya's side, Zeke brought her continued comfort through her final moments. Together, they shared a bond that was pure and profound, a connection that defined his world. Though he may still be navigating life without her, Zeke’s resilient spirit shines brightly, and he carries Freya’s gentle and loving nature in his every action. This easy-going boy is a dream to care for—crate and house-trained with no accidents, a leash companion who walks calmly by your side, and a sweetheart who takes treats softly and gratefully. The only extra care he needs is a simple daily liver supplement—a small task for a dog whose presence fills your home with warmth and grace. While his compatibility with cats or kids remains uncertain. Zeke is tolerant of other dogs his size and thrives on kindness and patience. He is ready to find a family who can offer him the same love and commitment he gave so selflessly to Freya—a family who sees not just his striking exterior but the loyal, gentle soul within. If you’re searching for a companion who embodies love, strength, and resilience, Zeke is waiting for you. Could you be the one to give him the new beginning he so deserves?
