Story
This is Mystic, a 6-7 year old husky.  Mystic came to us via animal control who took him from his owners due to supreme neglect.  He was in terrible shape when he came to us -very underweight, most of his fur was missing, he had fleas, ticks, hookworms and as you can tell by his picture, his ears had been half chewed off.  It has taken some time to get him healthy and to an adoptable state but it is now time for him to find a new home!!!!  Mystic is on Apoquel for allergies he developed due to his neglect (it is a pill you can add to his food).  Mystic is a really sweet dog - he is affectionate and grateful to be well cared for.  He knows some basic commands and is easy going and just happy where ever his people are and he really enjoys going for walks.  He is good with other dogs, likes kids and does not seem to care about cats.  He is up to date with shots, neutered, treated for heartworms/on prevention and crate trained.  We would love to see Mystic adopted to a home that will shower him with all the love and care he deserves.  If you like to be that home, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.myhstc.org.  Adoption fee is $85 and includes all veterinary care. Shogun had a home, a mom that loved him more than we can even express. He provided her with comfort. He would greet all the neighbors and loved getting pets from all the kids getting off the school bus from school. He also lived with two chihuahuas. But due to landlord issues the mom had to surrender Shogun. Shogun is a beautiful boy and already proven that he can live with a family of both humans and fur babies. Please consider giving him his forever home!

Sky is the kind of dog who makes it easy to fall in love with her. She is a sweet, gentle, affectionate girl who loves being near her people and will happily follow you around the house before curling up nearby for a nap. Sky has been wonderful with a young child and has shown herself to be incredibly gentle and loving. She enjoys going for walks, riding in the car, and spending time in the backyard with her humans. She has also done beautifully with some freedom around the home, staying close to her people and enjoying being part of whatever they’re doing. Sky does experience some anxiety during thunderstorms, but she settles well when she is safely indoors. We have not yet had the opportunity to see how she feels about other dogs, so a meet-and-greet would be recommended for families with resident pups. If you're looking for a loving companion who simply wants to be by your side, Sky may be your girl. She is truly a special dog and deserves a family who will cherish her as much as we do. ❤️
