ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.

Stark was born on 02/05/25. He is a very alert and cautious boy. He was raised along side two of his brothers and love companionship. He knows how to use pee pads if necessary. I've made sure he has his shots. I've trained him the best I know how, but he may need some refining. I'm moving soon and need to find him a home quick.

BARC introduces ELLA to rescue! Ella’s owner was upset with her because she was in heat and attracting male dogs and havoc so he told his wife and child he was going to shot her. Ella loved the little boy and did not understand. Thankfully, we were able to intervene and save Ella. She loves people and wants nothing more than to have her own family. She isn’t as fond of other dogs though. She does well with non dominant males. This affectionate shepherd/husky needs a new family. She is house and leash trained and great with children.
