Located in: Boise, ID Breed: Husky Mix Age: 3(ish) months old Adoption Fee: $150 Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped You MUST fill out an application, do not email us: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Stanley is a rambunctious puppy who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after the people he was with were no longer able to care for him. He was pretty little then, but he’s a fast-growing boy who is looking for his forever home! We were told that Stanley is likely a Husky mix of some kind, and we think that’s right based on his affinity for talking and verbalizing! When he is fully grown, we estimate Stanley will be around 50 lbs. This sweet boy is all play all day. He is active, playful, rambunctious, and curious. He loves toys of every kind - the squeaky ones for wrestling, the round ones for keep away, and the rubber ones for chewing. However, when the weather is nice, the backyard is his favorite place for sniffing, play hunting, and finding sticks. When playtime is over, he will zonk out just about anywhere but is most cozy in his crate. He sleeps through the night in his crate too without much issue. If given the choice though, he would love to snooze on the couch next to you or in your lap. He’s so soft and snuggly, so his foster mom is soaking it up while he’s little. His foster family has been working on some training with him such as learning to play bite lightly (a work in progress), walking on a leash (he’s getting better!) and knowing what “no” means (doing pretty good!) . He seems quite smart, learns quickly, and takes direction and diversion well. In his foster home, Stanley is good with dogs and cats, though he is still learning about body language and boundaries. He would do great in a home with another playful dog who can teach him more! We’ve also had Stanley around kids, and he totally matches their energy, though he still sometimes can play a bit rough, so we think a home without very young children would be best. He needs a family who will continue training and exposure to new experiences to ensure he grows up to be a resilient and happy companion for years to come! Keep in mind puppies are a LOT of work, he will need continued house training, work on walking on leash and of course at least the basics. A puppy class is a great way to bond and learn new things. Positive rewards training only! If you think Stanley would be an energetic and fun addition to your family, fill out an application today.

Story
Hi everyone! It is me Peanut! I have been kicking around here with the Moonsong crew for a few months now and just wanted to reintroduce myself! It is fall now after all, and I would love to find myself a dream family who is ready to share in all their adventures. As you can see, I am a very handsome male husky/malamute mix who is eager to please and just need someone to show me the ropes. I am only about three years old and am your typical bouncy boy who loves to play. I do know basic commands but could really use some consistent training efforts to help challenge my mental abilities and help me excel. I get along with most dogs who are similar in size but do need proper introductions and supervision with those who are little more dominant. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I would do best in a home with a secure yard, a family who is active and of course able to provide me with all the snuggles I deserve. If you are interested in fostering or even better, adopting me please fill out an application or contact my person for more information. I promise I will bring a world of happiness that is beyond your wildest expectation! And remember PEANUT ROCKS! Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Hey there, my name is Seth! I am a 2-year-old husky that has not been able to connect with the right forever family. So….. I am now with Moonsong and I know they are going to do everything they can to change my star-crossed luck, to Lucky Stars! I would do best in a home with playful similar energy level dogs. At the shelter I came from they said I was a ROCK STAR in their play groups. And get this: I am good with cats. Is that good, or what? In a previous home I did well with respectful children, so perhaps age 8 and above would be perfect. I greet people with curious interest and then woohoo it’s time to get acquainted! I will need a husky secure fence, so I don’t go on a ‘naughty boy’ walkabout. But If I have a good buddy to spend time with when my peeps can’t be showering me with attention, I won’t want to go anywhere. I would really love to finally find the perfect home, where I know I will be loved for the rest of my life. Are you the one? Let’s work out the details!! I'm in Casper Wyoming. Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Life is good! Spike here chatting with you from wonderful Wyoming! I was living an ok life with a nice family but my wanderlust tempted me too often and I was loose in a flash visiting all my girlfriends in the neighborhood. I loved my excursions so much that I would play games with my family when they tried to take me back home. So I ended up in a shelter just about ready to take the long walk when Moonsong stepped in and whisked me away just in the nick of time. The ride to Wyoming was quite an adventure with a carload of other pups to keep me company. All four of us pretty much slept the entire trip. I know…bor-ring! Since I have been in Wyoming, I have met a few new ladies that I like a lot. I seem to like the girls more than the boys but there have been a couple of guy pups that weren’t so bad. If they are bigger than me and have a ‘big boy voice’, they tend to scare me a bit. After all, I am a little guy. I do love the human girls too…a little more than the human guys. I am a little more cautious around them at first but warm up pretty fast. Where I am staying, there is the nicest girl who walks me and feeds me and pets me and let me hang out with her in her house. She says I am super house trained, know several commands, really smart and just a love bug to be around. I am not really treat motivated unless you have the right kind of treats. Believe it or not but I turned my nose up at duck jerky! Really…go figure! I’ve never really played with toys so they are really new to me but one thing I do like is my personal wading pool. I bet I would be a Huski-dile if given the chance. Spike is a handsome young male Husky that is super sweet and very calm for his age and breed. He does well around kids and especially female dogs. He definitely is a Northern Breed dog who loves to play hard. He is quite curious about the farm animals he is around now but hasn’t shown a real strong prey drive towards them so far. In fact, the resident pig scares him to death! His prey drive towards smaller dogs is starting to kick in so a home without smaller pets would be best. Because of his past ‘prison breaks’, he will need a secure fenced yard. He could also benefit from some obedience training to hone his leash skills. Spike will be neutered (don’t tell him that though) and have all of his vetting done soon. If you are looking for a young Husky to add to your family, don’t overlook this young man. He has everything going for him! I'm located in Casper, Wyoming. Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Yup, my name is Blue, since I have the most gorgeous blue eyes. I was on limited time and Moonsong swooped in and got me. Whew it was a close call. There is a lot of that happening lately. I was a stray, so Moonsong doesn’t really know my age, but guess me to be about 2. I am currently fostered with a pawsome family in Bozeman, MT, and they are learning more and more about me each day. They think I must have had some children in my prior life, their 9-year-old son is my absolute favorite bestie! I crawl up on his lap on the couch, or cuddle next to him in bed and he reads to me. It is so soothing…. Yup, I could be a lap dog if I wasn’t so big! I love to go for walks, when I hear the jingle of the leash, I get really excited! You will need to make sure and keep an eye on the door so I don’t scoot out without you. Maybe if you enjoy running, I could be a running partner (on leash, of course). Or we could learn how to skijor together, wouldn’t that be fun? I love the other dogs in my foster home, we hit it off right away. And the doggie door is so cool (what a great invention), I can come and go to the house and yard when I need to. I ride great in a car, maybe we could go on adventures together. Like all huskies, I will require a securely fenced yard. Maybe that’s why I ended up in doggie jail, someone didn’t do their homework about huskies. Please consider bringing me into your life, I am a really special boy. I am current on vaccinations, chipped and neutered. Reach out to Moonsong and it will be the best decision you ever make! Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Anyone out there looking for a strikingly handsome young Husky mix? I just might fill the bill for that! They tell me I’m 65 pounds, but I don’t really seem to be aware of that because I adore being a lap dog. I’m super sweet, snuggly, and I love to give out kisses. I am more than happy to relax on the couch with you or sleep at your feet at night. Here are just a few of my favorite things to do – go on walks, car rides and meet new people. And of course, I enjoy playing in snow and the sprinklers too! I know all the commands, like, come, wait, sit, lay down, off and up. I even take treats gently. All easy peezy stuff for me! I grew up around other dogs and cats. When around other new pups though, it’s best to feed me by myself. It’s possible that I could coexist with the felines – once I get familiar with them. I am good with kids if they know how to treat me respectfully. So, older kids with good manners are more my style. For the most part, I’m a pretty laid back doggo. Although, I do woowoo like any husky would do. In short, I’m just a sweet, happy, easy-to-please kind of guy to love. I'm located in Clinton, Utah. Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.
