 ***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Meet Tug! 3 years old | Dane/Husky mix | BIG boy (~90lbs-ish)   Tug is a large, goofy, high-energy guy who lives life full speed . He rarely barks, loves being part of the action, and will keep you laughing with his derpy personality.   He’ll need daily exercise, structure, and a home that understands big dogs—Husky experience would be a huge plus. Tug is also a bit of a counter surfer/trash inspector, so management is key.   Best fit: • Active home with a large yard. • Older kids (he’s big & gets excited) • Slow intros with dogs • Good with confident cats • Husky or high-energy breed experience preferred   Tug’s Rules: • If food is out → it’s mine • I’m 90lbs… but think I’m a lap dog • Exercise = mandatory • I may knock you over with love • Routine helps me thrive! My previous owners have referred to me as an "escape artist," so my new home will need to have a safe and secure yard for me to enjoy. Don’t let my age fool you. I am still full of energy and love running around and playing. I am a typical vocal Husky mix. I am spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm, and microchipped.
