Story
Buster is a male Husky/lab mix who was born about 2/2011. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He did test low heartworm positive, but it was so low the vet recommended just placing him. on prevention and letting the worms die off naturally. He gets along well with children and other dogs, but needs a home without cats. Poor buster was found as a stray and his owner could never be found so he is now in search of a new person to call his own.

He`s house, kennel, and leash trained, and knows commands like `sit,` `high five,` and `down.` Apollo is great with kids and other dogs but not good with cats. He’s been working on his escape artist tendencies and is ready for a home that can give him the attention and exercise he needs. Apollo is ready to be your loyal companion.Apollo is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Our shelter is open by appointment only due to construction so you must submit the form and be pre-approved to adopt to schedule an appointment. All dogs/puppies are sterilized, vaccinated, 6 months and over are heartworm tested, examined and microchipped. The shelter also deworms biweekly and provides flea and heartworm medication monthly while the animals are in our care. . Annie was found at a truck stop off of I-10 and never claimed. She was chipped and came from Erving, Tx where she was spayed, microchipped and adopted out. She's a sweet girl, slightly shy. Walks well on lead, rides well in a car. She likes other dogs but definitely needs a patient calm adopter that will help her become more confident. She's 8 months old and absolutely beautiful. She is also quiet as a mouse which for a Husky is unheard of!
