Barking Wishes Senior Pet Rescue and Sanctuary

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based and volunteer-run rescue, with a small sanctuary space for senior dogs who are unadoptable or in need of lifelong hospice care. Whether they’re with us for a short stay or for the rest of their lives, they are family. ​ We specialize in saving senior dogs who are often the first to be passed over and the last to be helped. Our dogs come from: Scary, overcrowded shelters where they’re at high risk of euthanasia Homes where their owners have passed away or entered long-term care Situations of neglect, abandonment, or urgent need They may come to us broken, scared, or sick—but they leave knowing love, safety, and peace.
