Story
Meet Dusty! Have you ever wished your life came with its own four-legged comedian? Meet Dusty! This 80 lb Husky/Akita mix believes every walk is an expedition, every puddle is a luxury spa, and every day is the perfect day to be wonderfully ridiculous. If there's water nearby, expect a splash. If there's room to run, expect zoomies. If you're having a bad day, expect Dusty to fix it with his goofy grin and larger-than-life personality. Dusty has never met an adventure he didn't like, and he's pretty sure you were put on this earth to join him. Hiking? Yes. Long walks? Absolutely. Playing until everyone is laughing? That's his specialty. He's a super friendly guy who has a talent for making people smile without even trying. Life is simply more entertaining when Dusty is around. Dusty seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, but a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone agrees on the house rules. His opinion of cats is still a mystery... he hasn't submitted his official review yet. If your home could use a little more laughter, a lot more love, and an enthusiastic adventure buddy with a built-in sense of humor, Dusty is ready to report for duty. Just be warned... your camera roll is about to be 95% Dusty doing something hilariously adorable. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list. The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
