He came to us as a stray, and while the shelter world can feel overwhelming for him at times, Andre shows us more of himself each day — especially once he’s outside and begins to feel comfortable with the person beside him.Andre is a thoughtful dog who takes his time learning to trust. Calm voices, patience, and quiet reassurance help him feel safe. As he settles in and begins to relax, you see the softer side of this sweet boy — a dog who simply needs stability, understanding, and a chance to belong. While we do not know what his life was like before coming to us, we hope his future will be bright and filled with kindness.Andre has shown respectful interest in other dogs and may enjoy a calm canine companion with gentle introductions. He would do best in a steady, patient home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.Andre has been selected as Deb’s Dog of the Month for February, a special program in memory of Deb Danielson.
