Tequila “Keela” 🖤❄️ Some dogs don’t need to be loud to be noticed… they just are. That’s Keela. With her striking ice-blue eyes and thick, fluffy coat, she turns heads instantly—but it’s her soft, gentle soul that really stays with you. Keela is the kind of dog who leans into you quietly, like she’s been waiting her whole life to feel safe. She’s affectionate, calm in the home, and enjoys playing in short bursts before settling in close to her people. She loves going for walks and does well with a no-pull harness, just needing a little guidance along the way. She is crate trained (especially if treats are involved 😉) and mostly potty trained, though like many dogs, she may need a little consistency during the transition to a new home. Keela would thrive with someone patient—someone who understands that trust isn’t rushed, it’s earned. She can be a little unsure in new situations (car rides and stairs are still a work in progress), but with time, encouragement, and a steady routine, she continues to blossom. She’s done well with other dogs and seems to find comfort in having a canine companion nearby. Because of her curiosity, slow introductions with small animals are recommended. More than anything, Keela just wants to be loved—and to finally feel like she belongs. ✨ Soft. Gentle. Loyal. ✨ A quiet soul with so much love to give If you’re the kind of person who sees the beauty in a dog finding her confidence… Keela might just be your girl.

👻🤍 Meet Casper — the friendly floof 🤍👻 Unlike the ghost… this Casper is VERY real, VERY fluffy, and VERY committed to haunting your house with zoomies, toy explosions, and dramatic nap positions. 👀 But true to his name, Casper is all sweetness. No scares here — just puppy kisses, fluffy cuddles, and chaotic baby energy. He spends his days playing hard, learning how to be a well-mannered gentleman, and then immediately crashing out like paying bills is exhausting. 💤 Casper is dog and cat friendly and has the sweetest, gentlest little soul. He hasn’t met kids yet, but with his happy-go-lucky personality, we think he’ll do just fine. This friendly little ghost is officially searching for his forever home. 👻✨ Interested in adopting Casper? Submit an application today! This happy little boy was found wandering in Oklahoma alongside two siblings and an adult female husky who is believed to not even be his mom — but she still took him in and stayed by his side. 💔 Sadly, one sibling ran off and another was hit by a car, leaving just Casper and his adopted husky protector behind. Casper’s adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website.

Story
Meet Bette Davis Bette is a sensitive, soulful girl with a gentle heart who is just beginning to discover that the world can be a safe and loving place. Believed to have come from an abusive past, she’s still learning to trust humans, but every day she shows a little more courage. At first, Bette may scramble away if someone reaches down to pet her. It’s her way of saying, “I’m not quite ready yet.” But with patience, consistency, and a calm approach, she is steadily warming up and showing her true, sweet personality. Watching her choose bravery, even in small moments, is incredibly rewarding. Bette finds comfort in routine and has done great with crate training; her crate is her safe haven. Bette is potty trained, though she may regress during fearful periods. The good news? She’s very smart and quickly gets back on track. She’s still learning how to signal when she needs to go outside, so her future family should be ready to help guide her. Leashes have been a scary new concept, but Bette is making great progress—especially when she has a confident dog friend by her side. In fact, other dogs are her absolute favorite thing in the world. They light her up, boost her confidence, and help her feel safe. Because of this, Bette requires a home with another playful, confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her continue to grow. She loves dogs of all sizes, especially little ones that like to play! Bette will thrive in a home that understands decompression and is committed to going at her pace. She’ll need a patient, experienced adopter who can help her work through “stranger danger,” build confidence, and continue positive exposure to the world around her. Breed experience is required. She does have a high prey drive, so a home without chickens, ducks, geese, or similar animals is a must. Bette isn’t the kind of dog who will run up to greet you on day one—but if you give her time, space, and understanding, she will quietly blossom into a deeply loyal companion. She’s looking for someone who sees her not for who she is today, but for the incredible dog she’s becoming. If you have a confident pup and a patient heart, Bette just might be your girl. Bette's adoption fee is $425plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. Meet Eve 🐾❄️ Eve is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky with a bright mind and an even sweeter personality! This smart girl is eager to please and has been doing amazing in her foster home. She’s great with other dogs and does well with kids, making her a wonderful addition to an active family. She does enjoy a good game of chase, so a cat-free home would be best for her. Eve appears to be both kennel trained and potty trained, and is settling into home life like a pro. She loves affection and enjoys snuggling up with her people just as much as she enjoys playtime. She’s ready to find a forever family who will give her the love and adventure she thrives on. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and fun-loving companion, Eve might just be your perfect match 💙
