Babie is a 1 year old husky mix with stunning looks and a personality that just wants to be part of the action. Found as a stray still wearing a collar and leash, it’s heartbreaking no one came back for her. She has lots of energy and thrives on companionship—she’s the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything you do. Shelter life is tough on her, and she would likely do best as your one-and-only so she can soak up all your attention. At just over 52 pounds and already spayed, Babie is ready to head home today and be your devoted, adventure-loving sidekick. By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.

UPDATE!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Millie! This sweet girl was surrendered to us from a not so good situation. She’s an adorable shepherd/lab mix. She’s 3-4 months and right at 15 lbs. She’s sweet and outgoing.  She’s settling into foster care and doing amazing. She loves other pups and her people. She is utd, spayed and ready for her forever home!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
