Hudson is a Siberian Husky/Malamute mxix that was originally found as a stray and brought into the shelter by Animal Control. Hudson was adopted in 2024; however, he was recently returned to the shelter upon the death of his owner. Hudson has the personality and temperament of a Husky in every sense of the word. He is happy and bubbly. Hudson has lot of energy and plays well with other dogs that match his energy. He doesn't do well with cats. Hudson pulls on his leash when walking but is getting better. Hudson does like to talk! Hudson has graduated from the Puppies for Parole Program, so he knows many commands. Hudson is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. Information: Makia originally was brought to the shelter as a stray, so little is known about his past. His owner eventually made contact with us and stated that they no longer wanted him because he likes to run and was always taking off. Now that he is neutered, it may potentially help with that. However, huskys tend to be higher energy dogs and like to run so having a fenced yard or leash walking daily may be required for him. Keep in mind that if you do have a fence, they can also be great climbers and go over fences. He will need to be watched and kept on a leash when outside until you build a bond and boundaries with him. He was recently adopted and returned due to killing their chickens. It is also important to note that huskys natually have very high prey drives and will need to me monitored around cats and smaller animals. He seems to be a sweet dog who is ready for an experienced new home! Owning a Siberian Husky means caring for a high-energy, vocal, and independent sled dog that requires a massive daily commitment of time, secure fencing, and patience. The Good: Friendly and social: Huskies love people, kids, and other dogs. Playful and funny: They have huge personalities and talk back with howls and dramatics. Athletic partners: They make great running or hiking buddies for active owners. Clean habits: They keep themselves clean like cats and lack a strong dog odor The things to consider before adopting one: Escape artists: They will jump fences, dig under barriers, or slip out of leashes. Stubborn minds: They are smart but do not blindly obey commands like other breeds. Heavy shedding: They blow their thick double coat twice a year and drop hair constantly. Destructive boredom: Left alone or under-exercised, they will chew furniture and dig. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. This pretty girl had been shuffled through several people after her human was no longer available to care for her. The people were told she is Husky and Great Pyrenees but many times she looks more like a Shepherd so not sure on her breed. She is an all around great dog, can't find a flaw! She gets along great with cats and dogs and is an absolute joy to have around. She could be probably be anything you want her to be. She is so sweet and loyal and willing to please...a perfect age. She has great house manners. This beautiful girl was born May 2025 and weighs right around 50 lbs.All animals must be neutered/spayed prior to finalization of adoption. All animals will be microchipped and have the appropriate vaccinations for the age of the animal. All animals will be treated for worms and flea/tick prevention.

King is a loving, playful, smart, and goofy 3-year-old Siberian Husky who loves being part of the family. We got King from a friend when he was young, and he has been with our family for about three years.King loves cuddles, walks, playing outside, and spending time with his people. He has lived with children, including a teenager, a 10-year-old, and an 8-year-old, and loves playing with them and getting lots of pets. He has also spent time with both small and large dogs and enjoys playing with them.King is potty trained and knows to go outside to use the bathroom. Because he has not been neutered, he has been allowed to mark indoors at times, so this is a behavior his new family may need to work on. He knows sit, stay, and down. He is also up to date on his vaccinations.We are only looking for a new home for King because we are moving and unfortunately won't be able to house him anymore. We would love for him to find a family that will give him plenty of love and attention.

Guy is goofy, enjoys the occasional husky howl, he enjoys chewing on bones, stuffies and anything that squeaks. He is what some would say, a super chewer. He puts up with an antagonistic puppy and only occasionally steals her toys. He is smart and food motivated and will do well with training provided you bring the snacks! He enjoys some banana with is breakfast and popcorn when watching TV. He does great with older kids (11-14) but has yet to meet any younger.
