Story
Kiwi is a happy, affectionate girl who loves her people. Shes the kind of dog who is shy but once she knows you, she makes friends great with people, cats, and other dogs. Kiwi is playful, cuddly, and always ready for attention, whether thats chasing toys, soaking up pets, or curling up on a comfy dog bed. She already knows how to sit and walks nicely on a leash, making her a great mix of fun and manageable. Kiwi loves treats (who doesnt?) and thrives on interaction, so she'll do best in a home where she gets plenty of love and engagement. She may also prefer a home with no small children as her nervous nature makes loud nosies and fast movements a bit intimidating sometimes. She may bark a bit when first put in a kennel, but she settles in with time. Kiwi is fully vetted spayed, microchipped, and up to date on DAPP, rabies, kennel cough, and flea & tick prevention, so shes ready to go home and start her next chapter. If youre looking for a friendly, playful, all around good girl, Kiwi might just be your perfect match. Story
Sylvie Shiba Inu-Siberian husky mix Spayed female 3 years old, 39 lbs. Sylvie is a mix of breeds (Shiba Inu, Siberian husky and possibly German shepherd), but we can speak with more confidence regarding her sweet temperament and sharp mind. She is house trained, knows basic commands and thrives on spending time with her people.   Sylvie enjoys relaxing and exploring in the yard and appreciates a balance of activity and downtime. At just 39 pounds, she walks well on a leash and is eager to continue learning with people who will provide consistency and positive reinforcement to grow her confidence when encountering other animals. She has lived with other dogs before, but would probably do best in a home without cats and small children. Sylvie is a bright, affectionate dog and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. While she generally enjoys her walks, she can become overstimulated by bicycles, motorcycles, squirrels and rabbits, and will benefit from an adopter who will help her practice leash manners. With patience, structure and love, Sylvie will make a loyal and devoted companion. Sylvie is looking for a forever home where she can flourish and share her affectionate nature. If you're seeking a smart, loving companion that enjoys time outdoors and values being part of the family, Sylvie may be the perfect addition to your home.   Adoption form available at: nebraskanokill.org Suggested adoption donation: $300.00    August 18, 2026, 2:24 pm
