Introducing Summer ! This gorgeous, blue-eyed beauty is a sweet-hearted social butterfly who is looking for the best forever home.  This little lady is a very smart girl! She learned how to sit and wait patiently for her dinner or a treat in just a matter of minutes! Summer has known nothing but love and security since the minute she was rescued, so she will be ready to step right into her new home, effortlessly.  Summer has been around children of all ages, other dogs (including two momma dogs who have been more than willing to educate her on proper doggie manners), and confident kitties who rule the house- and she has done very well with all. Summer is still a puppy, but she's doing well with potty training and does well when taken out frequently and kept on a schedule; she also keeps her kennel clean and dry. Summer is happiest when she is with people or other dogs, but will settle down quickly in a kennel and sleeps quietly through the night. She is working on leash walking and is learning to love car rides. She is a super-snuggler and has a sweet, gentle, sensitive little soul. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If this pet is under 6 months old, it may still need to be spayed/neutered. This procedure is scheduled through Brave by the age of 6 months and the cost is covered through the adoption fee. Joy needs to live as an only pet. She is a 4-year-old, spayed Siberian Husky and loves ALL people, but not other animals! She enjoys a wading pool to help keep cool in the summer and she loves playing fetch, so we’d prefer a securely fenced yard for Joy. She is healthy, house trained and ready for a furever home where she can be on squirrel patrol. Thankfully, she does not seem to react much to fireworks. Joy’s current foster mom is taking a trip later this month, so she needs a new foster home by July 25th.
