🐾 Meet Shadow – Sweet, Silly, and So Ready for a Real Forever Home 🐾 ID# A29241 | 2 Years Old | 49 lbs | Neutered Male | Husky Shadow originally came to us as a stray on June 29 and was adopted on July 14… only to be returned two days later because — and we quote — “he’s a great dog but he just doesn’t add any value to my life.” 🙄 (Excuse us while we roll our eyes all the way across the room.) Now he is back out of no fault of his own. Shadow's previous owner stated that he is very much a goofy, affectionate, and full of life kind of dog. He runs to the front of his kennel with a wagging tail and happy kisses the moment he sees you 🐶💖. He’s super easy to leash up, even if he gets a little squirmy with excitement. Once outside, he’ll give you a quick round of zoomies (complete with a classic puppy bow 🐾), then settle down to enjoy pets, cuddles, and exploring the world nose-first. Shadow is friendly, curious, and affectionate — he loves attention and is quick with kisses. He’s manageable on leash (especially after that initial excitement) and participates in doggie playgroups here at the shelter. He’d love a playful, active home where he can stretch those legs, sniff everything, and get all the love he deserves. 🏡 If you’re looking for a fun-loving, people-friendly pup who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and your cuddle buddy, Mufasa is waiting!

Dinah first joined us at only 1 day old after her mom died giving birth. She was bottle fed in one of our foster homes and found a loving family. Unfortunately, Dinah has become too rough for the small dog in her family so they made the difficult decision to return her to us so she could find a new home. Dinah loves to swim, play fetch and go for walks. She is perfect for someone looking for a dog who likes to go on adventures! Dinah does fine with bigger dogs, she likes to play but respects when they are not interested in her. Dinah is kennel trained, house trained and loves to lounge on the couch or in her open crate. She is 3years old and weighs 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! Meet Aspen! Aspen is a beautiful 4-year-old Husky who’s just joined our rescue, and we’re still getting to know her sweet personality. What we do know so far is that she’s a gentle, well-mannered girl who’s already showing so much potential. Aspen is easy to walk on leash and enjoys exploring the world at a comfortable pace. She’s potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs. Right now, Aspen is looking for a foster home so we can learn even more about her—her preferences, quirks, and what kind of forever family will be the best match. A foster will give her the chance to settle in, feel safe, and let her personality shine. If you’re able to open your home and heart to a gentle Husky who’s ready for her next chapter, Aspen would love a soft place to land.
