Meet Drako 🖤 (#32087) Drako came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to his family moving, and he’s having a hard time adjusting. He is a very scared and timid boy at first, especially on approach, and may need you to go slow and let him set the pace. Sitting down low and giving him time to sniff and feel safe makes all the difference for him. Despite his fear, Drako allows full body handling without any issues and has shown no signs of aggression. Once he starts to feel comfortable, his sweet side comes out—he’ll seek out attention and gently press himself into you for affection. He truly just wants reassurance and a calm presence. Drako would do best in a quiet, patient home where he can decompress and build confidence at his own speed. He would also benefit greatly from continued gentle handling and positive interactions, like those he receives from volunteers. With time, consistency, and love, Drako has the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal and loving companion. 🐾

Meet Huskador (#32196)! 🐶❄️ Huskador is a loyal and charming boy who is ready to find a new family to call his own. He came to the shelter after being owner surrendered due to his family working too much, and he previously lived on a large property alongside other canine companions. Here at the shelter, Huskador has done very well in play groups and truly enjoys his free time in the play yard, where he can explore and soak up the fresh air. He’s a bit of an independent guy, but on his own terms he can be very affectionate and loving. One thing that always brings out his excitement is seeing his brother, Saheri—their bond is unmistakable. While it’s not required that they be adopted together, Huskador would love for you to consider making his Christmas wish come true by giving both brothers a home together. Whether adopted on his own or with Saheri by his side, Huskador would make a wonderful companion for the right family. 🎄🐾

He came to the shelter through no fault of his own after his owner had to surrender him due to working too much. Saheri grew up on a large property alongside other dogs and has always enjoyed canine companionship. Here at the shelter, Saheri has done wonderfully in play groups and continues to show that he’s a friendly, social pup. He can be a bit sensitive when touched around his face, but he remains tolerant and gentle. One thing that truly shines is his bond with his brother, Huskador. The two share a special connection, and while it’s not required, Saheri would absolutely love the chance to go to a new home with his brother by his side. With his loving nature and easygoing personality, Saheri would do well in just about any home setting. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion—and maybe even a bonded pair—Saheri would love to meet you! 💙

Ichi came to my home on August 13 2024 from a shelter. She is approximately 6 years old. She is a wonderful dog that will give love to anyone. She enjoys walks but does not beg. She is great on leash, and potties only outside. Her favorite time is spending her time at the dog park. She is really good with other dogs, although she may be vocal she is playing and have not done any harm to any dogs. She has slight separation anxiety, so the best fit for her is someone that has at least one person in the house with her. She is very calm and patient and smart. She is great around strangers and have helped me through my hardest times. Some traits I am looking for her new home is a home with at least one person at home, doesn't mind taking to the dog park, and is willing to provide total loving care to her.

Dinah first joined us at only 1 day old after her mom died giving birth. She was bottle fed in one of our foster homes and found a loving family. Unfortunately, Dinah has become too rough for the small dog in her family so they made the difficult decision to return her to us so she could find a new home. Dinah loves to swim, play fetch and go for walks. She is perfect for someone looking for a dog who likes to go on adventures! Dinah does fine with bigger dogs, she likes to play but respects when they are not interested in her. Dinah is kennel trained, house trained and loves to lounge on the couch or in her open crate. She is 3years old and weighs 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! What we do know so far is that she’s a gentle, well-mannered girl who’s already showing so much potential. Aspen is easy to walk on leash and enjoys exploring the world at a comfortable pace. She’s potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs. Right now, Aspen is looking for a foster home so we can learn even more about her—her preferences, quirks, and what kind of forever family will be the best match. A foster will give her the chance to settle in, feel safe, and let her personality shine. If you’re able to open your home and heart to a gentle Husky who’s ready for her next chapter, Aspen would love a soft place to land.
