Meet Buddy 🐾 Buddy is a super sweet Husky looking for a new family who can give him the time and attention he deserves. He was surrendered when his owner’s work schedule made it difficult to spend enough time with him. ❤️ According to his previous owner, Buddy is a calm, friendly boy who enjoys attention and being petted. He has lived with other dogs and is reported to be friendly with people and most dogs. He has never been around cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown. Buddy has a few adorable quirks that make him extra special! He enjoys keeping his food bowl and dog bed close by and may even carry them from place to place. He also has his favorite treats: small pieces of jerky are a hit, while peanut butter treats aren't quite his thing! 🦴 Here at the shelter, Buddy has been very sweet and tolerant of handling, and staff say he walks amazingly on a leash. He may also have a cataract in his left eye and has reduced vision in his right eye, so a veterinary evaluation may be helpful to better understand his vision needs 🐾💙

He was surrendered when his owner’s work schedule made it difficult to provide him with enough time and care. His previous owner also reported separation anxiety, frequent chewing, and accidents in the home. Leo has been very sweet and social with staff here at the shelter. His previous owner described him as friendly with most dogs, though a dog meet-and-greet would be recommended to ensure a good match. His previous owner also reported an incident in which Leo bit her wrist for an unknown reason. Because the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear, potential adopters should be prepared to take introductions slowly and allow Leo time to adjust to his new environment. Leo has also reportedly been urinating frequently throughout the home recently, so our team would recommend that his adopter have him evaluated by a veterinarian to rule out any underlying urinary or medical concerns.
