Story
Elsa is a gorgeous Husky with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already crate and leash trained. She’s the perfect mix of spirited and obedient—ready to run, play, and then settle in for a car ride (which she loves). Elsa is very people-friendly and thrives on attention and companionship. With her outgoing personality and loyal nature, she’ll make a fantastic addition to an active home that appreciates the intelligence and enthusiasm Huskies bring. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving best friend, Elsa is your perfect match. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2380668##

Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Story
Hi y'all. My name is Jaime. I was abandoned by my human. They left me and others behind when they moved. But it all worked out, cause you see this nice lady came and rescued us. Now I have a yard with toys and treats. Even as nice as this place is. I yearn for my own family to run and play with. A place where I'll never be left behind again.December 11, 2025, 3:10 pm

Story
Paisley is a one-year-old spayed female husky mix with a bright spirit and a heart ready to bond. After spending her first year of life confined to a crate, this remarkable girl has blossomed into a joyful, well-mannered companion who’s eager to make up for lost time. Paisley is smart, enthusiastic, and always ready for fun. She adores games—especially the flirt pole—and she’ll proudly prance around with her fetch “trophies,” often giving herself a few celebratory tosses. She walks beautifully on a leash and is quickly mastering her recall. Because of her sheltered start, she’s still learning the finer points of being a dog, including polite play manners, but she’s catching on fast and making lots of canine friends along the way. She’s not a match for homes with cats (in her opinion, they are excellent for chasing), but she is a wonderful fit for people and other dogs. Paisley thrives on affection and will melt lovingly into you, offering soft kisses and soulful eye contact as if to say “thank you” for giving her the life she always deserved.Paisley’s ideal home includes another dog or two for companionship and a person or family who will bring her along on regular adventures. She’s a quick study, eager to learn, and even more eager to love. Once you meet her, you won’t forget her.

Story
Sashi is a friendly, outgoing boy who loves meeting new people and making friends wherever he goes. He’d prefer a home with older kids who can match his energy and give him the respectful space he needs to feel comfortable. Previously a farm dog, Sashi was trained to leave chickens and goats alone, but he still has a strong instinct to chase small animals, including cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home. He can also be selective with other dogs and may guard his favorite items, so he’d thrive as an only dog. With the right management and thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with a compatible canine friend. Sashi knows some basic cues and is an absolute joy to walk, he’s polite on leash and always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking, exploring, or enjoying the outdoors year-round, Sashi will be right by your side with a happy tail and a big smile. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your adventures, Sashi is ready to meet you!
