Yuri is a 3-year-old, 75lb, spayed female husky/shepherd mix. She's up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Her loving owner is losing his eyesight and will soon have a guide dog to help him. But unfortunately, he can’t keep Yuri. 😔 Yuri loves people and has zero stranger danger - she’ll happily hop into anyone’s vehicle. She hasn’t been around kids and her size, strength, and enthusiasm can be a bit much, so older kids would be best. She used to go to the dog park daily and loves other dogs, except Golden Retrievers (🤷‍♀️). She's very playful and likes to run with other dogs. 🙂 She wants to play with cats, which they might not appreciate. She’s been near chickens and horses without issue. She’s potty trained, and has never been crated but does fine when alone. She’s good for handling at the vet and groomer. She loves to snuggle in bed and splash in kiddie pools. Yuri has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) - she doesn’t have enough pancreatic enzymes to digest fats, carbs, and proteins. It’s been well-controlled with a certain food, specific treats, and a daily B12 supplement, which she’ll need for the rest of her life. Lincoln is a very energetic dog, house defender and definitely loves his owners. He is faithful and protective. He is not so tall but the most handsome Husky I’ve see. But because he is so protective, he has trouble accepting people in his house, and seeing other animals too close him. He is able to share space with other dogs in a hotel and some people specially women. He is able to be groomed fine and not give you a lot of work with his fur. He has short hair, making easy to be groomed every 6 months or more. Lincoln needs a new home because his house will not be able to take care of him the much he needs. He deserves love and attention. We would be so grateful and happy to have him adopted by someone who has time for him and will give as much love as he always had.
