Story
Thor is a four year old husky and has a sweet playful personality. He loves to run play and be active. He does wonderfully with children and other dogs. Thor is house broken and can comfortably stay home alone for up to eight hours. We walk him twice a day, once day once in the morning and once in the evening, He is fed once daily and enjoys a mix of cut up rotisserie chicken with wet and dry dog food. His favorite treats are pig in the blanket and milk bones. He is in excellent health with no medical issues. All of his vaccines are up-to-date. His medical records are available and he is microchipped. Thor does not tolerate summer heat well, during the hot months we only take him outside briefly to do his business and he comes back inside to enjoy the air conditioner, where he is happiest and most comfortable. Thor is a loving loyal companion who would thrive in a home that understands huskies and can give him the care and love he deserve

Story
Meet Bandit, a spirited 5-year-old Siberian Husky bursting with energy and personality! This charming boy is a bundle of love, showering everyone he meets with boundless affection. Bandit’s enthusiasm is infectious, but he comes with a “too much” gene—his excitement can be a lot to handle, as he struggles to calm down once he’s riled up.He’s looking for a special home that can match his high energy and provide the structure he needs to thrive.  Nickname “The littlest husky” or Frito Bandito! Bandit is best suited for a single-pet household, as he takes time to adjust to other animals and can react strongly to dogs during walks or outings, which may be misinterpreted by other pets or owners. His ideal adopter is an experienced Husky owner or someone familiar with the breed’s unique traits—Bandit is strong-willed and stubborn but also a quick learner who sometimes chooses to ignore what he’s learned! With consistent training and patience, he has the potential to shine. This athletic boy is an expert jumper, easily clearing 6-foot fences, so he comes with a Halo collar to help prevent escapes and track him if he does. Bandit needs an active home with a secure environment, ideally with someone who can continue his training and channel his energy into positive outlets like long walks, runs, or engaging activities. If you’re a Husky-savvy adopter ready to embrace Bandit’s big personality, provide firm guidance, and give him the love and attention he craves, he’ll reward you with endless loyalty and affection. Ready to meet your new adventure buddy? While waiting for his forever home Bandit is located in Summerville, SC  Bandit is neutered, Up to date on shots & microchipped.    To adopt: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2602/generic ##2508413##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Jacoby, the sweet, shy, and mellow dog with a goofy side that shines brighter than his unique blue eye spot. We are told his mom is a husky and that little spot offers a glimpse into his past life. His owner was unable to care for him and surrendered him to our animal control. He was nervous and unsure of the noisy environment but began to recognize the faces/voices of the volunteers who hand out treats and quickly added those to his favorite friends list! Initially, he was fearful of the leash but has now learned that it usually brings something special.  He is adjusting well to life at the shelter and has become quite the curious fella. If you leave treats within his reach, he will investigate and feel absolutely no shame. He is also not a fan of baths but says mud puddles are ok! Jacoby is ready to bring joy and a touch of goofiness to a loving home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.  Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.   January 6, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Nova is a 2 year old female husky that we acquired from a local breeder when she was 8 weeks old along with her sister Jasmine (also listed as they are a bonded pair). We would prefer to rehome them together. Nova is a sweetheart, and happily rolls over for belly rubs and snuggles every morning, and when we get home from work. Both are house broken, and were raised with cats and our young son with no issues. Nova prefers to be where her people are, and will stay by your feet or on the couch next to you if you let her. We are looking to rehome unfortunately as our work hours have drastically increased unplanned and we can no longer give them the exercise and attention they deserve. Nova knows “sit” and “down”, but will steal your food off the counter if you give her a chance. She is crate trained, and vocal like would be expected of a husky. We are happy to help support spaying costs when rehoming if the girls can stay together with a safe and loving home.

Jasmine is a sweetheart, comes when called, likes to talk back like a typical husky, and loves to play outside! Both are house broken, and were raised with cats and our young son with no issues. Jasmine prefers to be where her people are, and will stay by your feet or on the couch next to you if you let her. We are looking to rehome unfortunately as our work hours have drastically increased unplanned and we can no longer give them the exercise and attention they deserve. Jasmine knows “sit” and “down” (and will begrudgingly listen!) and has been left alone in the house reliably for long periods without chewing up anything!
