Story
If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application.  Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Kojak Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Large range: 61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  ** At the time of his wellness exam Kojak only had one testicle descended. It should be monitored by his vet and if it is not descended by the time of his neuter he will require cryptorchid surgery to remove it from the abdomen or inguinal area. This will add $100-$200 on to the cost of the neuter depending on the vet. This will be done at the adopter's expense.   Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:      8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.   12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.   16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.    6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  **  Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.    **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.   Kojak wants to love you.   Foster Home Feedback  5/18/26 Foster Feedback: Kojak likes to be held, and his foster mom is enjoying that. He’s doing well in his kennel, he’ll bark a little before settling in.  He likes being outside and wandering around, but he doesn’t go far from his foster.  Once he goes outside, he potties right away. He watches the other dogs play — he’s just too little to join in right now. Kojak is ready for someone who wants a small, sweet puppy to grow with. Who’s ready to adopt this little guy? Kojak would love to go on some adventures with you!To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org May 31, 2026, 1:04 am

If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application.  Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Lia  Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Large range: 61-100  lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 - $100* = $150 (applicable sales tax included). Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.    *A donation of $100 was given by Valley Imports towards Lia’s adoption fee. Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip    Lia could be your new best friend!   Foster Home Feedback  5/22/2026 Foster Feedback:  Lia is growing into a great dog. She is smart, spunky, and a ball of energy. She's taking cues from the resident dogs. She can be a rough player but in her defense she plays with our 64 pound Staffordshire and a friend's 62 pound bulldog who are rambunctious. She does well with our 11 year old bulldog. We just make her calm down. Lately it takes a moment to warm up to new dogs but easily becomes friends and just wants to play. Her potty training is good. She hasn't had an accident in a couple months. We just watch her cues and she'll let you know when she wants out. Lia is fantastic in the car. She loves car rides will gladly sniff with her head out the window or just lay down and relax.  Lia's leash manners still need some work but she's overall a good walker. When you stop she'll sit and wait to start walking again. She is easily distracted and will pull after leaves, dogs, and people. Lia is still a bit of a jumper. It can be overwhelming for children but she is getting better as we continue to train her.  She can be loud in the kennel for the first few minutes but calms down. She will go in on her own. Lia gets to sleep in the bed with the rest of the pack and does well at cuddling in. We've left her out periodically while running errands. She's mostly good but will get into things from time to time. Lia would excel with an active home. Having a dog buddy would help her energy. She's still a young puppy with tons of energy. She'll happily be your shadow. She's perfectly fine hanging out while you're doing things but having an outlet will help her overall energy.   3/9/26 Foster Feedback: Lia may be the smallest of her siblings, but she carries herself like a much bigger dog. Her foster family calls her “Chica” because this little girl has a spicy, confident personality that shines through in everything she does. She loves exploring new places, happily greets new people, and plays comfortably with dogs of any size. Lia is making steady progress with potty training and is learning the routine of going outside. She adores being around people and would choose human company over just about anything else. She settles into her kennel after a few initial complaints and then relaxes well. Lia is a lively, affectionate pup who will bring energy, curiosity, and a whole lot of love to her future family. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org May 31, 2026, 1:04 am

Story
Dana is a sweet and smart girl who loves her people. She can be shy with new people at first but forms a bond quickly. She has just started learning sit, down, touch which she is picking up quite quickly. She sleeps through the night in her kennel but is still working on kenneling during the day and potty training. She does great on car rides and sleeps most of the way. She loves to snuggle with her person but can also be quite playful. She is currently learning the joys of fetch. She walks well on a leash and looks to her person for guidance. She loves to learn new things and is eager to please.
