Story
Samson is a 4 year old Male Husky/German Shepherd/Grey Wolf mix (previous owners told me 20% wolf but I’m unable to verify) and fully intact. He is experienced with being an indoor and an outdoor dog, does well with kids, and does well with other dogs when given a good start. He knows basic commands (sit, down, shake, speak, place, release, come, up, off, out (of mouth) ) I would love to make sure that he is placed in a home with a yard - ideally with somebody that understands his specific needs as a highly intelligent dog! He is crate and muzzle trained, and does very well on leash when with somebody who understands leash tension and walking

Story
***Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico*** Hi, I’m Sora — a super sweet and happy-go-lucky husky mix who’s always ready for fun! I have so much love to give, and I can’t wait to find my forever family. When the volunteers from Surfers for Strays first met me, they found me tied to a tree with very little space to roam. The local family I’m staying with truly loves me — they feed me well and always make sure I have fresh water. But I need so much more exercise than they can provide. Unfortunately, where I live, walking dogs isn’t common. Other than the occasional beach trip once every few months, I spend most of my days tied to that tree. Thankfully, other dogs come by to play with me, and sometimes even a chicken or a cat will hang out for a bit — so I’m not too bored! My humans say they can’t let me loose like the other dogs because I’ll run off to explore the world… and, well, they’re right! Fences aren’t really a thing here, and everything just seems so exciting. All the people to meet, animals to sniff, places to go — I’m curious about it all! They say they tie me up to keep me safe from cars (whatever those scary things are). Luckily, the volunteers brought me a much longer leash, so now I’ve got more room to bounce and zoom around! I adore people and greet everyone with a wagging tail and my big, goofy husky smile I’m the kind of pup who makes every day brighter with my joyful energy and affection. I’ll thrive in an active home with someone who can keep up with my playful spirit and give me all the attention and adventure I crave. Oh, and have you seen my eyes? They’re the most stunning shade of icy blue — so bright and full of life! One look into them, and you’ll be hooked. My humans say they’re completely irresistible (and honestly… I have to agree ). Just recently, the volunteers gave me a bath (meh ), took me on a car ride (yay ), and then to the beach (double yay! ). It was such an amazing day! I got to show off how fearless and curious I am, how polite I can be with people, and how great I am with other dogs. On leash I mostly ignored them, but at the beach I wanted to play with everyone! It was so fun, and I hope I get to do it again soon — maybe even with my forever family? If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and energetic best friend who’s full of life and ready to explore the world by your side… I’m your girl!
