Story
Hi my name is Shadow! I’m sure many of you have heard the story of my brother and me wandering around Pasqua Lake. My brother Pasqua Pete found his furever home, and now I am looking for mine. My foster mom thinks I am really cute and says I am well behaved most of the time. My foster mom has two elderly cats and we all get along quite well, she also has a 2 year old male border collie who is my best friend. I have lots of friends at the lake, and I love playing and going for walks with them. I love to wrestle with my friends, but I also know how to be gentle if I need to. I nip at my foster mom once in a while, but I am trying to stop that. I am potty trained, but have had a few accidents in the house. I have been around kids a few times, and so far I really like playing with them too. I’m learning how to play with toys, and my foster brother is teaching me tug-of-war. My foster mom says I have made a lot of improvements in the last couple of weeks; I don’t mind having a collar or leash on anymore, I’m not possessive over my food or treats anymore, and I go inside the house easier than I did before. I am still getting used to staying in one spot and not wandering away. I love getting attention and scratches from my foster family. I am not aggressive; I am gentle, friendly and sometimes timid, but after a few treats I warm right up. I listen well most of the time, but I have had a lot of names over the last couple of months, so I am still learning that my foster mom likes calling me Shadow. I promise I will be a great addition to your family!
