Story
Tundra is a sweet natured dog rescued from a major highway, possible dumped or escaped. He has hip dysplasia, which may affect him as he ages, along with cataracts causing partial blindness and some hearing loss. Tundra loves squeaky toys and gets along well with other dogs but may chase cats. Due to his vision and hearing challenges, he's best suited for homes with older children. He can be very vocal. He is four years old as of 4/22/25.

Story
Hi there! My name is Colleen, and I am an approximately 9-year-old, 50-pound female Siberian Husky mix with a heart full of love.I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people and enjoys being part of a family. I love spending time with other dogs—especially male dogs—and I do best with calm, respectful canine companions. I can be a bit dominant with some female dogs, so I would do best with a male dog or a submissive female. Like a true husky, I’m delightfully chatty and love to “talk,” whether I’m sharing my excitement, asking for attention, or simply joining in the conversation. Some of my favorite things include playing with dog friends, soaking up belly rubs, chasing balls, and enjoying tasty treats. While I haven’t been around kids in my foster home, my gentle and loving nature suggests I could be a wonderful family dog. I would do best in a home without cats.I’m fully potty trained, walk nicely on leash, and have wonderful house manners. I am crate trained, and while I may protest a bit at first, I settle best with soothing classical music and when crated in a room with another dog—having a buddy nearby helps me feel secure and relaxed.Overall, I’m an easygoing, loving husky who would make a loyal, joyful companion. I’m ready to bring warmth, conversation, and lots of love into my forever home. ##2632538##

Story
Hi! My name is Leif, and I am a 9-week-old male Husky mix with a tender heart and a love for all things cozy. My siblings, my mom, and I were found dumped at an abandoned house when I was only about 2½ weeks old — right before the winter freeze. Thankfully, the rescue stepped in just in time to bring us somewhere safe and warm, giving us the chance to grow into happy, healthy puppies. I can be a little shy at first, but underneath that bashful exterior is an incredibly sweet boy who absolutely adores being snuggled. Once I feel comfortable, I melt right into your arms and could happily stay there soaking up affection for as long as you’ll let me. I just need a loving family who will give me a little patience and reassurance while I learn that the world is a safe place. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who will bond deeply with his people and happily be your cuddle buddy, I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever family and shower them with quiet, snuggly love. *Disclaimer: Leif is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection. ##2634583##

Story
Banjo is an 8 year old male Husky mix. He is super sweet and pretty chill. He loves to lounge around, is dog friendly with proper intros, and adores people. He is new to the rescue, so we are still learning more about him, but he is potty trained. He had an owner, but was left to roam the streets. When he was injured and taken to the shelter, his owner surrendered him. He found himself on the euthanasia list, but we knew how sweet of a boy he is and could not let his story end there. He is fully vetted and ready to find his forever home. ##2636664##

Story
Nico is a 2-year old (as of 2025) light red/white husky that is needed a new home after his family developed severe allergies. He is a friendly boy that was the result of an "oops" litter. He is friendly with other dogs, neutered, and will be updated on shots shortly. He is on heartworm preventative and will be heartworm tested prior to going to his new home. He is respectful of a 5 foot fence, but like any husky needs a secure fence for safety. As with all huskies, we recommend no cats in the home due to prey drive.  ##2314402##
