Sky is a 4-year-old Husky that is the best big brother to his sister Kimber, who is a 3-year-old lab mix. They both love to snuggle and their favorite game is to see if they can both fit on your lap! They are potty trained and excellent on the leash! Sky and Kimber are dog friendly, but Kimber does get nervous with other big dogs. They would do best if they are the only dogs in the home so they can have all of your love to themselves! She is young- about one year and a half and although a little shy she is very playful. We think she is a small Siberian Husky mix at around 40 pounds. She is crate trained and dog friendly. She practices her leash walking everyday and is working on more socialization. She is a sweet and cute dog that just needs someone willing to help her become the best she can be. Blue is smart and learns fast. Loves treats and we used them during training. She is located at the facility in Justin.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

She is house trained and crate trained. And she walks well on a leash. She was born in 2018 and is located in a foster home. She is bonded with Bella and they need to be adopted together. Volunteer Notes: Denali is a petite guy for a husky and so handsome! He's only a little above knee high and maybe 46 lbs. He's a little bit timid but was easy to leash and very easy to walk. He walks right next to you unless there's a very interesting sniff he needs to check out. He didn't seem to know his sit but he was very gentle taking treats.

Volunteer Notes: Snow White is a gorgeous girl who was laying quietly on her bed when I walked up to her kennel door - in the middle of a loud, barky kennel. She was easy to walk but pulled moderately off and on. May be housebroken - her kennel was pristine and she had to do all her business when we got out on our walk. Her sit is perfect and she takes snacks politely but she's picky about which ones she will accept. Loved her.

Hello I'm Daphne! I am a 2-year-old Husky mix!  I am a sweet goofy girl with an easy-going temperament. I am a pretty quiet girl and even though I look like a Husky I don't sound like one. I enjoy playing with my dog friends and I love people. I am house trained and know some basic commands. I would love to find my forever home to take me on walks and snuggle with me at night!  If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
