Story
My wife and I adopted Wiggles from the Idaho Humane Society. The previous owner said she had a ton of behavioral issues, but we saw virtually none of them. When not in a contained yard she should be on a leash as she has tried to run a time or 2. She's very lovable, loves being snuggled and petted, loves treats. As much as we would love to hold onto her, current life makes it hard. I leave the house at 7:15am and back and forth to work is 45 min each way, so it can be 12+ hours her not having attention. My wife is battling cancer and currently is very weak and cannot give her the care she needs while I'm away. It is NOT due to behavioral issues. She is kennel trained and usually sleep in one at night. Loves walks. Overall an A+ girl! Update 5/18/25 unfortunately my wife 's cancer is progressing and she is extremely weak and cannot care for our dog while I am at work any longer. She will need to be rehomed as soon as possible, I'm looking forward to hopefully having a new f

Hi there! My name is Olaf, and I’m a handsome seven-year-old husky mix weighing in around 45–50 pounds. I’m neutered, up-to-date on all my vaccines, and ready to find a loving forever home! Like most huskies, I’ve got some energy to spare—but I’d say I’m more of a medium-energy guy. I enjoy playtime and outdoor adventures, but I also know how to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. I’m potty and kennel trained, and I’ve been doing great with other dogs here at the shelter. I’m a sweet and friendly companion, always happy to make new canine friends! That said, I do have a high prey drive, so I can’t live with cats or other small animals. It’s just in my nature. Also, like many huskies, I can get a little anxious when my people leave—but that just means I’m incredibly loyal and bond closely with my humans.   Hi, I’m Kojak! I’m a 6 ½-year-old Husky mix with a big heart and a lot of love to give. My journey to Pet Savers was a tough one—my owner had to move into assisted living, and we had to say goodbye. It was heartbreaking for both of us, but I know she wanted the best for me. Meet Diamond – A Senior Sweetheart with Husky Grace Diamond is a 10-year-old female Husky with a gentle soul and a lifetime of love to offer. Weighing around 65 pounds, she’s up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She is not yet spayed, but we’re consulting with our vet to determine the safest path forward for her as an older dog.
