Story
My wife and I adopted Wiggles from the Idaho Humane Society. The previous owner said she had a ton of behavioral issues, but we saw virtually none of them. When not in a contained yard she should be on a leash as she has tried to run a time or 2. She's very lovable, loves being snuggled and petted, loves treats. My wife passed away on June 8th, 2025 from cancer. With me back to work she's alone for up to 12 hours a day, and this is not fair to her. Looking for a good home with loving folks who can give her the time I am not able to. We tried this while my wife was alive. I'd like to honor her by finding Ms. Wiggles a new forever home A kennel and all appropriate toys will also be provided

Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER NEED This pet is in New England Meet Flo! She is a Husky/Shepherd mix .This sweetheart is currently enjoying life in a loving foster home, where she’s learning the ropes alongside other friendly dogs.  She is good with other dogs and will be ok with cats that are dog savvy.  Flo would do fine in a home with older children, 10 yrs or older, as she needs to be taught not to jump up.  Flo would like an active family or a family with another dog. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet pup, message us today to learn more about Flo. Let’s give her the forever family she deserves!  If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references, and then do a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $450.00 for adults and $550.00 for puppies under one year, including spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This lets us know the dogs’ temperaments so we can match them to a home. This also allows us to prepare the dogs to live in their forever homes! All dogs traveling from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! ##2107924##

Story
Hi there! My name is Olaf, and I’m a handsome seven-year-old husky mix weighing in around 45–50 pounds. I’m neutered, up-to-date on all my vaccines, and ready to find a loving forever home! Like most huskies, I’ve got some energy to spare—but I’d say I’m more of a medium-energy guy. I enjoy playtime and outdoor adventures, but I also know how to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. I’m potty and kennel trained, and I’ve been doing great with other dogs here at the shelter. I’m a sweet and friendly companion, always happy to make new canine friends! That said, I do have a high prey drive, so I can’t live with cats or other small animals. It’s just in my nature. Also, like many huskies, I can get a little anxious when my people leave—but that just means I’m incredibly loyal and bond closely with my humans. If you’re looking for a devoted and loving pup who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and loyal shadow, I might be your perfect match. Apply today at petsaversreport.org to meet me—I can’t wait to find my forever home!April 29, 2025, 3:27 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Kojak! I’m a 6 ½-year-old Husky mix with a big heart and a lot of love to give. My journey to Pet Savers was a tough one—my owner had to move into assisted living, and we had to say goodbye. It was heartbreaking for both of us, but I know she wanted the best for me. Since coming here, I’ve warmed up to everyone, but being a Husky, I really need a human to call my own. I’m fiercely loyal and miss having that special person in my life. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids, so I’d fit in just about anywhere! I’ve already been neutered, I’m heartworm negative, and I’m fully up-to-date on my vaccines—my previous mom took amazing care of me. Now, I’m just waiting for my next forever home. If you think we could be a perfect match, please visit PetSaversShreveport.org to apply. I can’t wait to meet you! February 25, 2025, 7:16 pm
