Story
Rosco is a 3-year-old Pit Bull/Husky mix with stunning blue eyes and a playful spirit that'll brighten your day. This fun-loving guy is all about his toys—he'll happily entertain himself with his favorites and isn't possessive about them. If you don't want to give one up, he'll just grab another! He's treat-motivated and already knows sit, paw, and down, making training sessions a breeze. Rosco came to us after his previous owner could no longer care for him, and he's ready for a fresh start. He tends to be more comfortable with women than men initially, but with a little patience, he warms up beautifully. While Rosco was attacked by another dog in the past and may have some triggers, he's shown he can do well with the right introductions and a calm, understanding approach. This handsome boy would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids (his enthusiasm might be too much for little ones), and we don't have history with cats. Rosco is looking for someone who can provide him with routine, guidance, and the love he's been waiting for. If you're ready for a loyal, playful companion who'll greet you with excitement and fill your home with joy, Rosco can't wait to meet you!

Story
Ruger is a handsome Husky (possibly a mix) estimated to be 5–7 years old. While his exact birthday is unknown, he is healthy, vibrant, and full of personality. True to his breed, Ruger is high-energy, intelligent, and loves to run. Ruger would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can safely burn off energy. He is a known runner and has a strong prey drive, so a home without farm birds or small livestock is essential. He has been amazing with our children and is affectionate, loyal, and deeply bonded to his people. Ruger enjoys being part of the family and does best with an owner who understands Huskies and can provide consistent exercise, structure, and enrichment. This decision has been heartbreaking for our family. Due to repeated incidents with farm birds on our family’s property, we have been given an ultimatum and must rehome him. This is not a decision made lightly, and our greatest hope is to find Ruger a safe, capable

Story
Hi y'all. My name is Jaime. I was abandoned by my human. They left me and others behind when they moved. But it all worked out, cause you see this nice lady came and rescued us. Now I have a yard with toys and treats. Even as nice as this place is. I yearn for my own family to run and play with. A place where I'll never be left behind again.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 12:13 am

Story
Elsa is a gorgeous Husky with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already crate and leash trained. She’s the perfect mix of spirited and obedient—ready to run, play, and then settle in for a car ride (which she loves). Elsa is very people-friendly and thrives on attention and companionship. With her outgoing personality and loyal nature, she’ll make a fantastic addition to an active home that appreciates the intelligence and enthusiasm Huskies bring. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving best friend, Elsa is your perfect match. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2380668##

Story
Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast.
