Story
Leo is a really fun energetic dog. He needs to be the only pet in the house. He is looking for someone that doesn't have or isn't planning on having kids or grandkids living in the house. He would, however, be a great playmate for a strong teenager. He is eager to play tug and pull and it's his favorite play-activity. He does enjoy running around with other dogs but becomes possessive over his dinner (not treats) and toys. He is very independent and needs a large yard to live in but would need to come inside at night during the winter and needs shade available for the summer.  He is an incredibly alert dog and will tell you when people are at the property. He is good about staying in his yard but eventually comes back if he does happen to run out the door.  He will kill any rodents. He also wards off coyote and deer very effectively. Leo knows around 30 words/commands and would likely be open to learning more. Owners can no longer accommodate him due to life circumstances. He is very energetic, extremely fun to be around, independent, smart, and surprisingly quiet for a husky. He would need a family who can either provide a lot of land for him or who can walk/run him a lot. He loves hikes and he loves going to dog parks, where he is always trying to play with other dogs. Story
Meet Hope! Hope is approximately 10 years old and 64 pounds. She is a wonderful companion with great house manners. Hope is house-trained, walks well on the lead, and is social and loving. Hope came to us from a WV shelter. She is fostering with a retiree and would be a great companion for an older couple. Hope wasn't spayed until she came to our rescue and unfortunately had developed some mammary tumors. All of the tumors were removed and her chest X-rays and bloodwork are good. Hope is spayed and vaccinated for dhlpp, bordetella, and rabies. She has a 4DX heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Hope is on monthly parasite prevenatives. Also included in the adoption are 30 days of Pet First Pet Insurance, and Petco's Free Welcome to the Family Program. This program supports All New Pet Parents and offers Free resources, more than $650 in savings, and 24/7 support.
