Story
Where are our husky lovers? Meet Claudia, a 1-year-old female Husky, and her father Maddox — a bonded father–daughter duo who must be adopted together. Claudia is medium-sized at around 40 pounds and embodies the classic Husky spirit with a confident, curious nature. She is the braver of the pair and often helps her dad feel safe, showing him that the world — and people — can be kind. Maddox, about 3 years old, is more shy and timid, but he clearly takes comfort in staying close to his daughter. Their bond is deep, steady, and unbreakable. Maddox and Claudia were found running loose across Webster County after suffering severe neglect. They are now safe with Saving Webster Dogs, but they are currently living in outside kennels and urgently need the comfort of a real home. Despite everything they’ve been through, both dogs are trying so hard. They’re learning the routines of everyday dog life, starting to come to the front of their kennels when visitors arrive, and responding beautifully to gentle, patient human touch. Each day brings a little more confidence, and it’s clear they crave love and connection. These two do best with calm interactions, patience, and consistency. Claudia’s confidence helps lead the way, while Maddox quietly follows her reassurance. With time, warmth, and kindness, they will blossom into deeply loyal, affectionate companions. Time truly matters. Cold nights in outside kennels are no place for dogs who have already endured so much. If you have the heart, patience, and space for two deserving souls — and for a bond that cannot be broken — Maddox and Claudia are ready to meet you. Maddox and Claudia are available for adoption or rescue and must be adopted together. If you’re interested in giving them the safe, loving home they deserve, please consider applying to adopt or sharing their story to help them find warmth and love — together.
