Pj will be 3 on October 31 2026, I have had him since we was 7 weeks old. He is a very energetic dog and needs to stay active in order to not get bored and cause him to be destructive. He loves going for walks-runs and he’s a great hiking buddy. I think he would make a great hunting dog with the proper training. He knows the basic commands sit/lay/shake. I don’t recommend him being around small children as he gets very excited and does jump a lot. He’s friendly with other dogs if introduced properly. He does not do well off leash as he will chase just about anything and always has his nose on the ground sniffing. He requires a lot of attention and must be crated when left home alone or he will eat anything in his sight as he has separation anxiety. He needs someone who can take him everywhere with them and give him the time he deserves.

His ideal adopter will have experience with behaviorally complex dogs and be committed to continuing professional training. Maddox is exceptionally food motivated, loves to work, and has all the ingredients to keep making progress with the right guidance. He also enjoys playing with other dogs, though he has not been tested with cats. Maddox's future isn't about finding just any home. Gino is an absolute goofball with one very serious passion: toys. If there is a toy anywhere nearby, Gino will find it. He loves carrying them around, playing with them, and making sure no perfectly good toy goes unnoticed. This tall, silly guy has quickly won us over with his playful personality and ability to keep everyone laughing. He is also a superstar with other dogs and absolutely shines in playgroup. Gino is still working on his leash skills and has plenty left to learn, but he approaches life with a happy attitude and plenty of enthusiasm. Gino's best fit: Gino would love a home that appreciates a playful dog and is ready to continue helping him learn. A canine companion could be a wonderful match for him, especially another dog who enjoys playing as much as he does. Gino came to Little Victories from an overcrowded county shelter, so we are still learning more about him as he settles in. What we already know is that he is silly, social, completely toy obsessed, and very easy to fall for.
