Meet Lil Girl, a 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 11lbs. She is a sweet, shy little lady who thrives in a calm, patient home. Given time, she blossoms into a loving lap dog who enjoys affection and snuggles. Lil Girl is okay with other dogs but would do best in a home without small children. She enjoys crate time to feel safe when she is overwhelmed and walks well on leash once she feels comfortable. Lil Girl came to us from a challenging situation, having spent her life mostly outside, but she is now thriving in her foster home and learning what life is like to feel safe, loved, and cared for. She is ready to find a forever family who will give her patience, love, and a cozy lap of her own. She is in a foster home, so if you are interested in adopting please apply online and a meet and greet can be arranged at the shelter! Neville Longbottom came to us completely terrified from a home with 10 other dogs. He has since acclimated to shelter life (as much as you can) and has blossomed into a very sweet and playful boy! He loves to play with other dogs and would make a great family dog and would do best with other dogs as playmates! Neville likes kids, but would do best with kids 10+ yrs old. Despite how he looks in pictures, Neville is only 31lbs! All pets that are adopted out of Animal Harbor are fully vetted. This means they are spayed/neutered and receive a Rabies, yearly vaccinations, preventatives for heartworms as well as flea/tick, and microchipped along with any additional vetting required to keep them healthy and happy. Dogs/puppies 6 months and above are all heartworm tested (and treated if needed) and all cats/kittens are combo tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS. If you have other pets in the home, Animal Harbor recommends bringing them to meet and greets. All pets go through a foster to adopt trial process to ensure a successful adoption!
