Andy and his friend peanut are approximately 4 years old. Andy is approximately 35 lbs. Andy was surrendered by his owner’s family. His owner was unable to care for him because she was hospitalized from having a stroke. Andy does well with all the other dogs. Andy is not a fan of crates but is working on it.

We acquired pepper in March of 2024 from a friend. She seemed to be a very happy puppy. As time went on though, we started to notice that our backyard was just a little too little for her. Tried to play with her and everything, but as older adults, and we started noticing that she was chasing our cats and she chased our neighbors elderly small dog and scared the owner. We are lucky that we weren’t reported to the HOA or the SPCA called out to come get Pepper. That’s just cruel to us for her. And we just refuse to do that. We believe that Pepper is bored, but we don’t have the energy to exercise her. We love her, but we cannot keep her, we are so heartbroken.
