This is Ellee (Noelle), a 5 month Jack Russell mix with a big appetite for affection and your attention. Her gaze will melt you and her sassy, prancy trot will entertain you! She loves other dogs and people, does not mind cats and doing well on her house training. She will sleep in her kennel but prefers to share the bed with her humans.  Typical of her breed, she is very energetic with zoomies through the house and yard and also a nibbler which may not be good for young children. She is learning "no bite", giving her a toy instead of our hands. Ellee is always trying to get the big dogs to play with her, sometimes a bit annoying and will steal their toys when they are not looking. Jack is a friendly and sweet Jack Russell Terrier who is more than ready to find his loving forever home. He has a happy, outgoing personality and enjoys being around people just as much as he enjoys being active. Jack walks well on a leash and is eager to get out and explore with his handler. He does well with other dogs in a group setting and enjoys playing with them, making him a fun and social companion. At the same time, Jack is also comfortable relaxing at home and watching movies, proving he’s as happy cuddled up on the couch as he is running around outside. Jack is looking for a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship. If you’re searching for a cheerful, affectionate dog who balances playtime with cozy downtime, Jack could be the perfect match. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
