She’s housebroken, crate trained, and loves going for walks—she’s a gentle girl who enjoys her daily adventures. She’s traveled well in the car and is happy to be your sidekick everywhere you go! While Roxie prefers to be the only pet—she truly enjoys being the queen of her castle—she’s ready to fill her new family’s life with cuddles, loyalty, and so much love. Roxie’s had a dental and will need to enjoy soft food for her remaining years—she takes everything in stride and radiates gratitude and sweetness. She’s vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Roxie will go home with Trupanion pet insurance, giving her that extra layer of care and protection. Meet Captain Jack O'Neil. He is a 7 year old Jack Russell and weighs 16 lbs. O'Neil is the sweetest little guy and he just loves everyone he meets. But not cats-no how, no way. O'Neil came to us after his people moved, and sadly couldn't take him. He is housebroken, walks fairly well on a leash with a no-slip halter, and is not a picky eater. His favorite place to be is beside his people, be it hanging out on the couch, playing ball or snuggling under the covers with you at bedtime. Not a fan of a crate, but since he is such a good boy, that hasn't been a concern. And he is always up for a car ride! A typical Jack Russell - he loves to chase squirrels, birds, anything small and moving, so a very secure fence or outings on a leash at all times is necessary. He will do well with a laid back, easy going dog, after a slow introduction. He is great with kids. Vet reference and meet and greet required.
