Story
BDRR rescued me from Puerto Rico and I am ever so thankful. I am a very sweet and happy girl that is looking for my furever home. I have a condition known as Intention Tremors. An intention tremor is a tremor that becomes obvious and often exaggerated as the need for precise movement increases. In my case it happens most under times of stress, ie loud noise. For example lots of barking in the kennel environment get very overwhelming for me and trigger the tremors. What does a tremor look like? Well, I shake a bit all the way from my nose to the tip of my tail. The exact cause is not quite known, but it is possible that my mom was sick during pregnancy and I was exposed. It is something I could grow out but we don't know for sure. Our medical team will be happy to talk to you in more detail about my wiggly nature. I am best suited to a quiet and loving home. A home without young children will be best suited as loud noises and lots of commotion bring on my tremors.

❤️ Meet Dripp. He’s learning that love doesn’t have to hurt. Hi, my name is Dripp. When my brothers, sisters, and I arrived at Big Dog Ranch from a Mobile County kill shelter, we were frightened, starving, and covered in fleas and ticks. We had already been through so much. Sadly, two of my brothers didn’t survive. 💔 But the rest of us are still here, and we are fighting to heal. I’m still very scared of people. I don’t always understand that the hands reaching toward me are there to help, not hurt me. Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been let down before. But the wonderful people at Big Dog Ranch haven’t given up on me. They are showing me patience. They are showing me kindness. They are teaching me how to walk on a leash and, most importantly, they are teaching me that people can be trusted. ❤️ It’s a slow process. Some days are harder than others. But I’m beginning to come around. I’m beginning to understand what love feels like. All I need is someone who will be patient with me. Someone who will give me the time I need to feel safe. Someone who will see past my fear and recognize the sweet, loving dog I’m trying so hard to become. I may not be ready to run into your arms just yet… but I promise, I’m trying. 🥺🐾 Could you be the person who shows Dripp that he is finally safe?
