Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. You can find a turn-key house, ready to move in with no repairs necessary, but can you find a turn-key dog, a dog that requires no house training or introductory period upon adoption? Why yes, you can! Please meet Juno, a 4-year-old 13-pound Jack Russel mix. Juno will join your family and you will believe he has always been a member of your household. He is house-trained, crate-trained, loyal, adaptable, and just a genuinely happy soul. Juno is an owner-surrender. His previous parent loved him dearly but was assigned to work outside the U.S. and could not take Juno. Juno was adopted by them from 4 Lucky Dogs in November 2021. Once a dog is part of our rescue, we will help rehoming him/her if the need occurs. Foster parents say Juno: Wags his tail eagerly wanting to be part of any action going on in the house. Has the cutest head tilt like he is really trying to understand your every word. Is a cuddle and nap enthusiast! Sneaks kisses when being held. Loves food! Could become chubby, but that is combatted by the fact that he loves multiple walks per day – each about 15-20 minutes. He can walk for much longer sometimes for three miles. Is very curious of strangers – he will bark at them but once he sniffs, he is fine. If he meets another dog, he will gradually warm up. Loves, loves, loves toys and balls! He will make you laugh throughout the day at his antics with toys. In his previous home and his current foster home, he is the only dog. He seems to prefer being the only dog in the home. The average lifespan for this breed of dog is 15 years; therefore, Juno’s adopter will need to be prepared to keep him for around 11 more years so he will not have to move to a different home again. Juno’s adoption fee is $500. This dog comes microchipped, neutered, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies shots, and heartworm tested. He is currently being fostered in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. ***We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue, and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida. As a general rule we try to limit our adoptions to within the state of FL. If interested in one of our dogs, please fill out a foster or adopt application at www.4luckydogs.org, and we will contact you by phone/text if we feel your application is the best fit out of the ones received.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 21, 2024, 9:01 am
