Meet Marshal! He’s a 2 year old lovable, playful and affectionate boy. My husband and I acquired Marshal from a family member when he was 6 mths. Since then Marshal has adjusted well. Mostly house trained, might have an accident if he doesn’t make it in time. He understands his name, basic commands and was raised with a cat before we got him. Not very social with other dogs. However, we recently moved and travel frequently. Since moving, we’ve noticed new behaviors like food aggression (i.e. growls when he’s eating if person is within 5 ft) and territorial, specifically with spaces in the home (i.e. barks when you tell him “out” kitchen, porch). Although we love Marshal and would like to work on these behaviors with him, due to work demands we don’t have the time and don’t want these behaviors to escalate. We are looking for a compassionate person/ couple who has the time, patience and willingness to work with Marshal and help him become the amazing companion we know he is!

Sawyer went from a scared boy to one of the most loving and outgoing dogs at the rescue. He loves to meet new people, he's getting used to being picked up, and loves to plays with the other dogs and puppies at the rescue. He greets volunteers when they come help out at the rescue and seeks attention from others. He has a strong fear of leashes and we think someone was not so nice to him with a leash. so we are slowly working on introducing him to one in hopes he will become leash trained and lose that fear. He is kennel and house trained, has been introduced to cats, and has really turned out to be an amazing boy. We only recommend children over 5 because he does like to jump when he's excited to see you. If you're interested in this pint sized little guy that loves attention and is playful, Sawyer is your guy! And you can't miss those adorably big years!
