He was given to us by some friends. He is super sweet and laid back. He is great with kids and loves to cuddle. He is 5yrs old. We didn’t neuter him, but I am willing to pay $80 to go towards this procedure. Unfortunately I am going through a divorce and I have to take more hours at work and have to relocate and can’t keep him anymore. It is a sad loss but we are having to re-adjust as a family with new dynamics.

Meet Lil Girl, a 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 11lbs. She is a sweet, shy little lady who thrives in a calm, patient home. Given time, she blossoms into a loving lap dog who enjoys affection and snuggles. Lil Girl is okay with other dogs but would do best in a home without small children. She enjoys crate time to feel safe when she is overwhelmed and walks well on leash once she feels comfortable. Lil Girl came to us from a challenging situation, having spent her life mostly outside, but she is now thriving in her foster home and learning what life is like to feel safe, loved, and cared for. She is ready to find a forever family who will give her patience, love, and a cozy lap of her own. She is in a foster home, so if you are interested in adopting please apply online and a meet and greet can be arranged at the shelter! Bart is a reserved 12 year old Jack Russell/Cattle dog mix. In his 12 years, this wise man has seen a lot. He is his own judge of character. Prefers a quiet and calm life. He now shares our lobby with several other friendly, playful pups and he does well. He hangs around to meet new adopters and guests. Might say hello to some or might just walk away. We know he has a crush on our Executive Director. A home including a male would be good. He does well with others when he can approach on his terms. Another dog in the home would be great. He is also good with cats. Might take Bart a minute to settle in, however, we believe with patience, love, kindness, the trust will come.
