Sophia is a very shy girl from a very rough past. Due to her past abuse she is very unsure of new people and often shys away from them. She is much more confident with a dog companion to let her know everything is okay. She would do best in a home without small children due to her nervousness and one that does have other dogs. She would not do well as the only pet.

He is six months old and they were told these peer Jack Russell terrier but he looks to be mixed with beagle possibly. He was house trained, crate, trained, and knows basic commands. Very happy little fellow who would make a wonderful addition to your home. He is currently located in Harrison Arkansas with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue but will be brought to you via the rescue network transport. Are you ready to add some fun to your life? HATTIE is here to help. She's a bouncy, playful, sweet little mixed breed girl. Hattie is about 18 months old and fully grown at 30 pounds. Our best guess on breed is some Jack Russell Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog and heaven only knows what else. Hattie has an adorable personality. She's affectionate and outgoing. Hattie is the total package, the only thing she's missing is a tail. We aren't sure where it went but all she has is a little nub. But it's okay, she can still show you how happy she is, tail or no tail! Hattie is best suited to an active home where she will get plenty of exercise. We'd prefer to find her a home with a physically fenced yard. She's great with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. If you'd like to meet Hattie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Hattie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm (weather permitting, watch our Facebook page for updates). Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Huckleberry Finn - or Finn as we call him is an adorable low rider looking for his next adventure with you! Our best guess is that he is a 2 year old Jack Russel Terrier / Basset Hound mix. He is approximately 30 pounds and full of LOVE!!  Finn came to SAAP ready to find his furever home but sadly we discovered that he was heartworm positive. So SAAP stepped in to get him the help and healing that he needed. Fin is ready to put all of that behind him and set out on a mission to find his family!  Finn has been good with all the dogs in his foster home. He ignored the resident cat. His favorite place is with his humans! He loves doing rolly polly’s for belly rubs! We are working on potty training. He had been on steroids since he arrived at SAAP for treatment (which heightens the need to drink and urinate) and so we are now working to reinforce the need to potty outside.
