The Sweet, The Silly, The Potato Dumplin.....DUBLIN!!!This Dublin dumpling at 7 yrs old due to his friend having to go into care is having to find a new forever home. This sweet playful happy boy definitely needs to loose some weight, but he doesn't let it slow him down, while he does have some minor hip issues due to his size, he is full of zest. He may be shaped like a potato but he is full of energy, he loves to play with his toys, cats, and other dogs his size. Outside is a whole wonderland of fun, from patrolling the fence line, chasing birds, and just enjoying the breeze ruffling through his hair. While the single step into and out of the house and the petsteps for sofa and bed dont deter him a flight of stairs may be a bit much for his CHONKY self until he is down several lbs. He has loved everyone he has met(kids, men,cats,small dogs) bigger dogs he has growled at and tried to intimate them with his ferociousness. He does great on car rides and short walks, longer walks may result in you doing some extra cardio by lugging his chunky butt back. If you have the patience to help him on his weight-loss journey, a desire to laff at his silly self, and a dumpling size spot in your heart, bed and couch needing to be filled with love, please consider welcoming this potato into your family. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. She was rescued with 223 dogs, from a horrible hoarding situation. ChiChi was pregnant and had a single baby, who was adopted. Never having human contact, gentle words or shown any love, ChiChi was terrified. With limited resources at a local shelter, she came to Rescue. This sweet little lady, has made enormous strides, being in a foster home. Still a bit shy at first, once she's comfortable her personality shines.
