Story
Sparky is a happy, easygoing little guy with a big heart packed into his tiny 8 lb frame. This chi/Jack Russell mix is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in whatever you’re doing—whether that’s an outdoor adventure, a cozy night in, or anything in between. 💛
HISTORY
Sparky’s DOB is listed as 12/06/2025. While we don’t know much about his early background, he has adjusted beautifully in foster care and continues to show what a wonderful companion he can be.
Sparky is fostered in Tri-Cities, in Eastern Washington. We share information about our dogs in postings based in other cities to improve their chances of finding a great forever home. He is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet him before you decide he should join your family!
SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING
Sparky is truly a “go with the flow” kind of pup. He adapts easily to his environment and is happiest when he’s included in daily life with his people. Whether your lifestyle is active and on-the-go or a little more low-key, Sparky is just excited to be part of it.
He is dog, cat, and kid friendly, and plays well with both smaller and larger dogs. He has a playful side but balances it nicely with a relaxed, easy temperament, making him a great fit for a variety of households.
Sparky is off to a great start with crate training and potty training, showing that he’s eager to learn and settle into a routine. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, he will continue building strong habits in his new home.
While he’s adaptable, Sparky would truly thrive in a home that prioritizes training and mental enrichment. Puzzle toys, short training sessions, and interactive play will help keep his smart little mind engaged and set him up for long-term success. He is still a young puppy and would benefit from puppy classes to help build confidence, learn basic manners, and strengthen his bond with his family.
It’s important to remember: Sparky is a puppy, and PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK! He’s still learning how to navigate the world and will need guidance as he grows.

Sparky has started his vaccination series, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. He is pending neuter due to age. He appears to be a healthy young puppy and currently weighs around 8 lbs.
