Story
Jack Jack lives with 7 cats! He is very cat friendly! This darling boy is a total heart stealer who is ready to blossom into your most devoted companion! He is the definition of a "hang out" dog once he knows you’re his person, he is all about being by your side and soaking up the love. Whether you’re relaxing with a book or moving through your daily routine, he’s happiest just being part of the pack and following your lead with a wagging tail. Want to see those adorable ears in action? Check out his adoption video below to see him showing off his sweet personality! https://youtu.be/2MVHPb3dVqU The Mystery Mix Perfection We like to think of him as a "designer rescue" blend part mystery, part magic, and 100% adorable! We believe Jack Jack is Jack Russel Terrier mix, he has that endearing look that makes everyone stop and say "aww." He is only 22lbs! A manageable size, compact enough to be your favorite travel buddy but big enough to give the world's best hugs. He’s already mastered the art of the afternoon nap; he just needs your living room to make it official. He is currently thriving in a foster home where he’s learning all about the good life! Jack Jack shows us that he is a total pro when it comes to domestic bliss. He’s been a gentleman in his crate and handles car rides like a seasoned traveler, quietly taking in the sights. Being in a foster home has allowed his gentle, sensitive side to really come forward, proving he's ready for a family of his own. When it comes to other dogs, this boy is a total rockstar! He is incredibly polite and respectful, making him a dream addition to a home with existing pups. He has a "go with the flow" attitude. While he’d love a home with a low to medium energy buddy to show him the ropes, he can also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the undivided attention himself! Curious about how he feels about feline friends? He’s been a total gentleman! He is very respectful of their space and has shown a wonderful ability to just relax and coexist. We even caught him lounging on the couch right near a kitty friend without a care in the world! Since every cat has its own unique "cattitude," we’d love to see how he does in a sleepover with a feline to make sure they’re destined to be best buds. This sweet boy doesn’t need a massive yard to be content; he just wants a quiet neighborhood where he can sniff the roses at his own pace. One of his cutest traits? He is an A+ student when snacks are involved and is a complete gentleman during mealtime! In short, he is a gentle, resilient soul who is ready to reward his forever family with a lifetime of unwavering devotion and soft, happy tail wags. He’s a true treasure just waiting to be found! Story
Some puppies know exactly how to get what they want... and Rabbit has apparently already mastered the art of puppy dog eyes. Seriously, one look into those big, soulful brown eyes and you'll find yourself wondering if he's had the hardest day imaginable. The truth is, he's perfectly happy. He just naturally wears the sweetest, most tender expression we've ever seen. This chunky little boy is still just a baby discovering the world one tiny paw step at a time, and his gentle nature is enough to melt just about anyone's heart. Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this precious little gentleman: https://youtu.be/K-g_mkJzWVQ?si=GR6YVu47QHztkb95 Rabbit is approximately 1 month old, currently weighs around 3 lbs, and we believe he may be a Jack Russell Terrier mix or maybe even a Chihuahua mix. He has 4 siblings and if you look at his siblings, you can see they are all unique with their own special characteristics. Perfect timing to enter the reference, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." You can also see a picture of mom as well and she's only about 18lbs! So we do know, this litter has some small genetics mixed in there somewhere. As with any rescue animal, breed is always a bit of a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that Rabbit is 100% adorable. Like any young puppy, Rabbit's personality is still growing alongside him, but we're already getting a wonderful glimpse of the sweet little soul he's becoming. Out of his siblings, he seems to be a little more thoughtful, often choosing to quietly observe what's happening before deciding he's ready to join the fun. It isn't that he doesn't enjoy playing, because he absolutely does. He just likes to take everything in first, and there's something incredibly endearing about watching him build his confidence one little adventure at a time. One of our favorite things about Rabbit is how quietly affectionate he is. He isn't the type to demand attention or make a grand entrance. Instead, he'll gently wander over without you even realizing he was there, lean into you for a little love, or quietly ask to be picked up for cuddles. Considering he's still such a tiny baby, it's impossible not to scoop him up the moment he asks. And honestly... we'd be surprised if anyone could resist those eyes anyway. Of course, he's still a puppy, which means he has plenty of playful moments too. He enjoys wrestling with his siblings, investigating toys, and discovering that just about anything can become entertainment with enough puppy imagination. Right now his days are wonderfully simple: play for a little while, ask for a cuddle, take a nap, and then wake up ready to do it all again. Because Rabbit is still so young, every day brings new experiences that help shape the dog he'll become. One of the greatest joys of adopting a puppy this young is getting to watch those little pieces of personality continue to unfold. We have a feeling his gentle heart, thoughtful nature, and quiet confidence are only going to become even more special as he grows. Rabbit is still very young and will need a family that's ready to commit to all the time, patience, training, and socialization that come with raising a puppy. Establishing routines, providing structure, setting healthy boundaries, and introducing him to the world through positive experiences will all help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We require our adopters to begin crate training as soon as their new puppy comes home, as it plays an important role in potty training, learning good habits, managing puppy energy, and helping puppies feel safe and secure. If you've been searching for a puppy with the sweetest heart, the gentlest personality, and a pair of puppy dog eyes that deserve their own fan club, Rabbit is ready to become your newest best friend. Just don't say we didn't warn you... those eyes are nearly impossible to say no to. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Meet Buttercup Coconut Toy Story! Meet Buttercup Coconut Toy Story, a tiny puppy currently estimated to be about 2 monthd old. We believe this little one may be a Lab/ Jack Russel Terrier mix, but as with many rescue puppies, her exact breed blend is a mystery. What isn't a mystery is that she's absolutely precious. Watch Buttercup and her siblings in action in their video! https://youtu.be/f_ce_gUA-dw With her fluffy white coat, adorable scruffy puppy fur, sweet little face, and tiny brown spot near the base of her tail, Buttercup looks like a stuffed animal that wandered out of a toy store and into real life. She's impossibly cute, wonderfully fluffy, and perfectly puppy-sized. Buttercup is currently thriving in a loving foster home where she's growing up around dogs, cats, children, and lots of people. Every day is filled with new experiences, cuddles, puppy wrestling matches, and long naps piled up with her siblings. Like all puppies her age, Buttercup is busy discovering the world one tiny adventure at a time. She's learning about different sounds, smells, people, and animals while building the foundation for becoming a confident and well-socialized adult dog. Right now, her schedule mostly consists of eating snacks, playing with siblings, collecting cuddles, and falling asleep in adorable positions. One look at Buttercup and it's easy to see why everyone falls in love with her. She has that classic puppy magic that makes you want to scoop her up, kiss her little forehead, and tell her she's the prettiest girl in the world. Because Buttercup is still very young, her future family should be prepared for all the joys and responsibilities that come with puppyhood. Training, socialization, patience, and consistency are essential as she grows. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately to help build confidence, establish routine, and support potty training success. Puppies like Buttercup are among the most vulnerable animals in rescue. By choosing adoption, you're not only changing her life forever, but also helping create space for another puppy who desperately needs a second chance. If you're ready for puppy breath, tiny tail wags, endless cuddles, and a best friend who will grow up by your side, Buttercup Coconut Toy Story is ready to meet you. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a207975c4e8fcd466093002 Questions?
