Story
Poco is a 6 month old dog that was returned to OPA at no fault of his own. He loves everyone and acts like he knew you his whole life, even though he just met you! He loves running in circles, giving kisses, and chasing his tail. Even though he is a puppy, he is housebroken, knows basic commands, and is a champ in the crate and the car. He is about 20 pounds and probably won’t get that much bigger than that, but his love for you will. Poco already loves you and can’t wait to meet you! December 5, 2025, 8:28 am

Story
Meet Valentino! 3-Year-Old • 15 lbs • Terrier/Jack Russell Mix Valentino’s journey has been one of resilience and healing. He was found on the side of the road, likely struck by a vehicle, with a fractured pelvis. After weeks of strict bed rest and gentle care, this brave boy is finally bouncing back—and he’s showing us just how much love he has to give. At first, Valentino was understandably fearful and kept his distance, but as he’s learned to trust, his personality has blossomed. Now, he calls out for attention with his sweet voice, eager for pets and companionship. He loves playing with toys, exploring the outdoors, and soaking up every bit of love he can get. Valentino is not just a survivor—he’s a playful, affectionate pup ready to find a forever home where he’ll never be left behind again. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Boots McGee! This 3-year-old, 15-pound Jack Russell/Dachshund mix may be small in size, but he’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart. Boots came to us as a stray with some pretty severe skin issues, and while we’re still working with a dermatologist to get to the bottom of it, he’s been an absolute trooper through it all. Boots is currently on a special diet to help manage his skin and digestive health—and he’ll need to stick with it in his forever home. He’s also heartworm positive, but don’t worry—he’s already received his ProHeart-12 injection and is undergoing treatment. A recheck in nine months will make sure he’s on track to recovery. Boots McGee is a quirky little guy who takes his time warming up to new people, but once he knows you, he’s loyal, sweet, and full of love. He’s not a fan of other animals—he has a high prey drive and would do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home where he can truly thrive. He isn’t house-trained yet and could use some help with leash manners, but he’s food-motivated and eager to bond with his person. His ideal match? Someone patient, experienced, and ready to help him feel safe, secure, and loved. Boots McGee is a work in progress—but he’s so worth it. If you’re looking for a special companion who just needs a little extra care and understanding, this scrappy sweetheart might be the one for you. 🐾🖤 Adoption fee is: waived to the right home. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Story
Hi! I’m Sirloin, a 10-pound terrier with the heart of a big dog and the enthusiasm of… well, also a big dog. I may be small, but I make up for it with my sweet personality and outgoing charm. I’m a young adult, which means I’ve got just the right mix of playful energy and well-mannered calm. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and showing off my adorable terrier trot. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always ready for an adventure—or a cuddle—I’m your guy. Life is better when we’re wagging through it together! I'm currently working on potty training.
