Story
Jerry is like a little boy in a dog’s body—goofy, sweet, and always ready for fun. He greets life with excitement, sometimes bouncing or jumping just because he can’t contain all the joy inside him. He absolutely loves fetch and will play for as long as you’re willing. Puzzle toys, brain games, dog park trips—Jerry is up for it all! His zest for life is contagious, and he’ll keep you laughing with his silly antics and happy-go-lucky nature. What makes Jerry so special is how universally loving he is. He has met many dogs and people and hasn’t met one he didn’t adore. He’s truly always happy—you’ll be hard-pressed to find him in a bad mood. He’s affectionate, lets you scoop him up and hug him, and just enjoys being close to his humans. Jerry is looking for an active, loving home that can match his energy with play and adventure, then cuddle him afterward like the sweet companion he is.

Story
Marshall Lee is a 1–2-year-old Terrier-mix with a big personality! He is leash-trained and potty-trained. Marshall Lee is a small (18 lbs) male Jack Russell Terrier mix with a big heart. He is timid at first, but once he feels safe, he’ll blossom into your most loyal companion and best friend. He does best in a calm home and would prefer older children who understand his gentle nature. Marshall Lee takes a little extra time to trust large dogs, but with patience and kindness, he eventually opens up and shows his playful side. Minimal barking, mostly quiet and playful. He does not like men. He loves daily walks (he’s great on a leash!) naps in his favorite spot, playing fetch, learning new tricks—he already knows a few commands and is working hard to learn more. He’s fully potty trained, eager to please, and happiest when he’s near “his person.” Marshall Lee is searching for a patient, loving forever family who will give him the time and space to settle in and shine. He is neutered, up to date on shots, hw negative and microchipped. Adoption fee is waived to the right home. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022 Rodeo is neutered, up to date on shots, hw negative and microchipped.

Story
Meet Boots McGee! This 3-year-old, 15-pound Jack Russell/Dachshund mix may be small in size, but he’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart. Boots came to us as a stray with some pretty severe skin issues, and while we’re still working with a dermatologist to get to the bottom of it, he’s been an absolute trooper through it all. Boots is currently on a special diet to help manage his skin and digestive health—and he’ll need to stick with it in his forever home. He’s also heartworm positive, but don’t worry—he’s already received his ProHeart-12 injection and is undergoing treatment. A recheck in nine months will make sure he’s on track to recovery. Boots McGee is a quirky little guy who takes his time warming up to new people, but once he knows you, he’s loyal, sweet, and full of love. He’s not a fan of other animals—he has a high prey drive and would do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home where he can truly thrive. He isn’t house-trained yet and could use some help with leash manners, but he’s food-motivated and eager to bond with his person. His ideal match? Someone patient, experienced, and ready to help him feel safe, secure, and loved. Boots McGee is a work in progress—but he’s so worth it. If you’re looking for a special companion who just needs a little extra care and understanding, this scrappy sweetheart might be the one for you. 🐾🖤 Adoption fee is: waived to the right home. **Courtesy Post**Cindy is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement and networking. All inquires should be directed to Cindy’s owner at almondfaexo@gmail.com ** Cindy is a 4 year old 13 pound female Jack Russell Terrier. She has been vaccinated and spayed. Like so many little JRT females she needs to be an only dog. She is selective about who she likes or doesn’t like. Cindy is an absolutely wonderful companion. She is friendly to all people and loves being with her owner. She is house trained, and has wonderful indoor manners. Honestly…. What’s not to love? We want her to have a home with someone who’s had a Jack Russell before and who has a securely fenced backyard. No short chain-link, no electronic fencing, no wrought iron unless it’s screened. Her owner needs to be home at least part of the day. Cindy loves attention. Cindy wants to be engaged with her owner. Jack Russells do not like being alone. If you adopt Cindy, you better be able to go for a lot of walks and play with her in the backyard. Cindy requires a home with no kiddos, no farm animals, no little critters, such as hamsters or parakeets. In order to adopt Cindy, you must have a good vet reference. Cindy is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement and networking. All inquires should be directed to Cindy’s owner at almondfaexo@gmail.com The first step to being considered for adoption is to fill out the online application at www.RussellRescue.com Cindy’s adopter must be able to drive to the Houston, Texas area to get her. A good vet reference is required to adopt Cindy.
