Volly is a sweet female Jack Russell Terrier mix who is still adjusting to her new surroundings, but her gentle personality is already shining through. She recently came to us when her previous family found themselves with more dogs than they could care for. While change can be a little scary, Volly is doing her best and just needs someone patient and loving to help her feel safe again. Volly has lived indoors with time outside and has experience living with other dogs. She has also been around people of all ages and is known to be friendly and playful with children. Once she starts to feel comfortable, her playful side begins to peek out. She’s also a smart girl who will let you know when she needs to go outside by crying, which is a helpful habit for anyone continuing her routine in a new home. Right now, Volly can be a little shy and unsure in the shelter environment, which is completely understandable. New places, new sounds, and new faces can be overwhelming. With a little patience, kindness, and reassurance, we believe her confidence will blossom and her true personality will shine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a gentle place to land, Volly might be the perfect addition to your family.
