Story
Winston was recently moved to a much quieter foster home where he is quickly blossoming! He follows his foster mom around, gets along great with his furry foster sister and loves to play fetch! Winston is 10-12 year old Jack Russell mix who weighs about 20lbs. Winston is potty trained. He has arthritis which is doing much better since he started Cosequin. Winston is not a fan of being picked up but is happy to jump in the car for a ride! Please email dancersbridgedogrescue@gmail.com if you are interested in applying for Winston. 🥰

sweet girl ISO fresh start and love! TWIGGY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Twiggy     Best Guess for Breed:   Jack Russell terrier mix   Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of July 2026       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  13.5 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Special adoption considerations:  Twiggy was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina.  She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs.  New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety.  She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of their shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place.  Twiggy is Looking For:  Her forever home, filled with snuggles and opportunities to see the world outside of a kennel. One where she is a cherished part of a family. She's very sweet, and SO ready to be a Real Dog.Extra patient and loving humans who introduce her to new places and people at her pace are exactly what she wants! Along with quality kibble, a cushy dog bed, and endless snuggles. You know what you get out of adopting a dog like that? An incredibly sweet and grateful dog who gives you all those adoring gazes, all the love and loyalty in her body, for all her days. What do you say? Is she the one for you? Are you her new chapter and forever home? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once this pup has spent time in foster care.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.   Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!  Please visit us online at      www.luckydoganimalrescue.org   .    BE A FOSTER!!!
