Pammy is pretty much the perfect dog – housetrained, sweet, good with kids, likes to walk, and good with dogs.
And yes, she’s not a dachshund. Well, her back IS a bit longer than other dogs, say maybe somewhere someone was a dachshund, but no guarantees. Maybe some Jack Russell in there. But we are officially labeling her a hellifiknow. So we need your help sharing this baby to help her find her forever home.
Pammy landed in our arms because the shelter was full and we just couldn’t leave her behind – that’s why we have proxy in our name – for cases just like her. And she had recently had puppies – but there were no puppies with her, which broke our heart even more. She’s a bit on the shy side and submissive, but it’s been amazing watching her gain confidence and blossom in her foster home. Pammy LOVES to snuggle on the couch and is waiting at the door when her foster mom comes home. And she’s even recently started playing with toys!
After a minute to warm up, she loves meeting new friends – humans and dogs. Because she gains confidence and follows other dogs, she needs a home with at least one other dog. She loves to play with both big and small dogs. Looking for a walking or hiking buddy – Pammy is leash trained and likes to go for walks.
Pammy is spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. Her new family will need to drive to the Raleigh area to adopt her – no transports. We prefer to adopt her to NC, VA, SC, eastern TN, northern GA, WV, DC and southern Maryland.
