Meet Ashley Ashley is a 1-year-old Wire Fox Terrier with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. Weighing just 19.4 lbs, this petite girl is playful, affectionate, and always happy to be part of the action. Much like her sister Kate, Ashley has a sweet, gentle nature and a fun-loving personality that shines in everything she does. Ashley loves playing with other dogs and does great with kids. She also truly enjoys human companionship and will happily soak up cuddles and attention from her people. Smart, curious, and eager to learn, she walks well on leash and is potty trained in her foster environment, adjusting quickly to new routines. While she isn’t crate trained yet, Ashley is a quick learner and very adaptable. Her ideal match includes: A family who enjoys daily walks and playtime Another friendly dog to play with, or regular dog socialization People who love an affectionate, people-oriented companion A home filled with patience, guidance, and love Ashley’s greatest wish is simple: a forever home where she will never be left behind again. In return, she promises unconditional love, loyalty, and endless happy moments. Ashley’s Rescue Story Ashley and her sister Kate were found abandoned in a low-income area of Guadalajara, left to fend for themselves on the streets. A kind-hearted woman in the neighborhood noticed the sisters and began feeding them daily. She even placed a blanket outside her home so they could stay warm and feel safe. Knowing they deserved more, she reached out for help—and that’s when we stepped in. Ashley was rescued and brought into our care, where she is now safe, loved, and ready for her next chapter: a forever home where she will be cherished and protected. About Kate Ashley’s sister Kate is currently waiting in Mexico until a family commits to a 10-day trial adoption. If you’re interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org.
