Hi, Caspian here.... I was taken to a vet to be euthanized due to my cataracts. :( THANKFULLY, a volunteer fell in love with me and took me into her home as a foster. I am too sweet and loving - and full of life- to be euthanized. I may be 13 years of age, but I have plenty of years left in me! I cannot see well and do run into things, but I can see well enough to jump up onto a bed to sleep with my human:) I am excellent on a leash, potty-trained, great with kids, cats, and dogs - I am the perfect dog! I enjoy going for walks and cuddles. I even get a little playful sometimes! I need a dental, which SCP will take care of, but other than that, I am good to go! Come meet me one Saturday at Petco. The adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
