Story
Charro is a sweet and beautiful 10 year old Abyssinian mix. She's getting lots of TLC in a wonderful foster home. This lovely senior girl is mellow and so loving. She sleeps curled up next to her foster mom all night long. Charro is so affectionate and great with everyone she meets. She is really comfortable around the foster's young daughter and they sometimes read books together:) Charro has an easy going way about her. And although she 'looks' serious...she's really a very happy feline. Charro just loves to be close to her people. She does not like other cats, but Charro can co-exist with a small gentle cat friendly dog. She would thrive best in a calm home, with people around who will adore her and give her lots of gentle pets and cuddles. Charro was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. She's getting special wet food and her foster is giving her subcutaneous fluids with ease, and both interventions are working. Despite the diagnosis, Charro is so deserving of a permanent home and we are hoping that an experienced adopter is ready to fall in love with her. If you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly, happy and well mannered cat who is good with older kids...just fill out an adoption application which gets you one step closer to a 'meet and greet'.

Story
Claudia is a pretty tabby with a gorgeous coat. She and her best friend Evan are a bonded pair that were rescued together. They have landed in an amazing foster home and are doing great. Here's an interesting factoid. The foster dad is a research scientist and he has unearthed some interesting genetics behind their coat colorings. Evan's coat pattern is called "ticked' and Claudia's is "blotched tabby". Claudia is not as outgoing as Evan, but since she's food motivated, her foster mom rewards her with treats when she's getting pets, brushed or doing something new for the first time. Claudia loves her foster dad! She'll come running up to him when he gets home from work and rubs her tail against his legs. She'll also happily adorn his lap for as long as he lets her. Claudia also loves to play...a great way to engage her. Evan is very curious and playful. He runs around with his tail high up in the air...a sign of a very happy cat. He'll look to his people for pets and gives out a big purr as a 'thank you'. And he's great with the resident cats and makes the cutest little chirping sounds when playing with them. Evan and Claudia absolutely adore each other. They snuggle up together, rub heads and make the cutest love sounds. They both need each other for comfort and security. That's why they can't be separated. These two need an adult family that has the time and patience to take things slow with them and let them evolve on their terms. A quiet environment with low activity level would be ideal. We think in time, with the right people by their side, they will continue to blossom and bring a lot of joy and love to their new home. Can you give Evan and Claudia the loving home they so deserve? The adoption fees for this bonded pair is discounted $50

Story
Ciao is having a hard time adjusting to cage life at the moment. She's very scared and unsure, given that she is a recent arrival and clearly stressed by the change. We were told by the shelter that she is loving and sweet, so perhaps she'll get there again. But being in a foster home would be the best thing for her right now. Ciao is a tripod. She came to us with one back leg and we unfortunately don't know about her history. The Milo Foundation is always in need of caring cat fosters for cats like Ciao. Fill out a foster application today and find out how you can help cats alleviate kennel stress for resident cats and help the Milo Foundation save more cat lives.
