Story
Meet the coolest cat on the block! We believe that Bear is an Abyssinian mix. He has the ticked fur pattern of an Abyssinian plus some of their behavior traits. Bear has a big personality that will capture your heart. He craves your total attention and is exceptionally capable of letting you know exactly what he wants whether it's chin scratches, non-ending pets, or belly rubs. Bear is a large, beautiful boy with unique markings that make him truly unforgettable. He and his sister, Honey, were rescued together as young kittens and have been deeply loved ever since. Unfortunately, their owner is now at risk of losing their home, and Bear is searching for a new family to love him.
Bear was understandably shy when he & his sister first came to their foster home but with patience and kindness, his sweet personality quickly shines through. He has become incredibly affectionate, playful, and social. Bear is the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. He is now living at our adoption center and has made friends with the volunteers and the other cats.
Honey and Bear can be adopted as a pair or separately, and each would do best in a loving, patient home where they can feel safe, flourish, and share the endless love they have to give in return.
Bear has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and is up to date on flea prevention.
