Story
Summer is a beautiful cat who loves quiet time and relaxing in a slow-paced environment. She requires some time to warm up, but given the right TLC, her personality will flourish. Building a relationship with Summer will require a lot of patience and trust. She requires a slow approach and would do best with someone who is an experienced cat owner. Summer would do best in a household with no other animals or small children. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.  ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. Story
Baby is a half Siamese half Tuxedo cat who lived in a apartment for all of her early years. She would spend all of her time hiding under chairs, beds, and in closets so its safe to say she likes her safe space. When I met Baby around 2 years ago now, her owner was moving so they planned on taking her to the shelter. At the time I was happy to take care of her. The initial first few days Baby was home with me were scary for her. She would scratch and hiss at me when trying to give her food. Soon enough though she began to open up to me and even let me pet her. Now she is very affectionate and enjoys staying only in my room in the closet or on my bed. Baby is a sweet cat that deserves a home where she is loved and cared for. From the little information I was given about her I can say she is about 9 - 10 years old and not spayedNote: Baby is strictly an indoor cat. If you take her outside she will run inside or constantly whine to be let inside.
